77th Directors Guild of America Awards

Following their attendance at the 2025 Critics Choice awards, Zoe Saldana, Michelle Yeoh, Demi Moore, Colman Domingo and more attended the 77th annual Directors Guild of America Awards wad held at The Beverly Hilton on Saturday(February 8th) in Beverly Hills, California.

Elle Fanning suited up in a custom look by VALENTINO. No matter what the occasion, I love me a suit and when done right, it can have impact. However, I feel like Elle's look needed to be edited. I don't think that she needed the scarf and the satin sash I am assuming on the waist. Also, the pants needed to be hemmed. 

Colmam Domingo also wore VALENTINO and his full look showed up on the label's SPRING 2025 runway. I love how Colman always takes fashion risks. On this occasion, I prefer how his look was shown on the runway. I don't think that he needed to tie the waist, but it's different and suits him as well. 

Jessica Williams wore sheer black beaded, cape dress from the 3.1 PHILLIP LIM SPRING 2025 collection. I would have preferred this if it was lined. 

Maude Apatow wore a fur stole and dress from the VALENTINO SPRING 2025 collection. There is just too much going on here. A sleek up-do would have been ideal. Also, I am not loving the gloves and the shoes. 

Mikey Madison wore  THE ROW SPRING 2025 white button down shirt and a black floor length skirt. I really dislike that ribbed waist, which is why I wish a belt was added to elevate her look.

Ayo Edebiri wore a KHAITE PRE-FALL 2025 dress which appears that she is wearing backwards. I actually prefer how Ayo is wearing the dress, but I also like the boat neckline on the model. 

Demi Moore wore a CHRISTIAN DIOR SPRING 2018 COUTURE gown and this would have been so much better if it were lined. 

Michelle Yeoh wore a SHIATZY CHEN black & white tweed jacket with a tank underneath and a maxi skirt which was belted at the waist. I think Michelle could have pulled off the jacket with the pants, but either way, she still looked great. 

Ali Wong wore a IRIS VAN HERPEN FALL 2018 COUTURE nude 3D gown. She always tries to pull off edgy pieces and it never works. Also, I am not feeling the color on her. 

Zoe Saldana rocked a cute ruffle polka dot mini dress from the NINA RICCI SPRING 2025 collection. I would have loved to see her wearing a simple, ankle strap sandal with this, but she still looked great.
