2025 BET Awards

On Monday(June 9th) the 2025 BET Awards which was hosted by Kevin Hart took place at the Peacock Theater in LA. 

Keke Palmer went the vintage route, opting for a CHANEL FALL 1993 COUTURE black embellished, mini dress with a tulle bustle in the back. I kinda wish that she wore a the fingerless gloves, but she still looked great. 

Tyler Perry wore a LOUIS VUITTON ensemble and I love the jacket. However, I feel like it doesn't work with the rest of his look. 

Shaboozey has created his own style lane and she doesn't mess around. He wore a custom black embellished suit by ELEVENSIXTEEN. He looked so good, but I dislike the wide belt. 

Andra Day did not come to play. She opted for a TONY WARD FALL 2023 COUTURE black embellished high-neck gown. I can't say that I like the bodice with the holes, but she is pulling it off. 

Doechii wore a MIU MIU SPRING 2024 ensemble. If this feels familiar, that because Gigi Hadid wore a similar version in August 2024. Either way, she is pulling it off. 

Ashanti served up some cleavage in a ALEXANDRE VAUTHIER black crystal embellished faux wrap dress. I like the dress but the neckline is just too wide. 

Ciara CONG TRI FALL 2025 black leather and feather panel mini shirt dress with a side draped panel. Accessorized with a 'A' trucker hat, this was the perfect look for the occasion.

Jordin Sparks wore a coral high-neck midi dress with feather detail from the LAPOINTE SPRING 2025 collection. This is not a bad look but it a bit meh for the occasion. 

Mya wore a burgundy high-neck gown by MICHAEL COSTELLO. Neck up, flawless, but the necklace and bracelets weren't needed. They are too heavy and the cutout detail is unflattering.
