39th American Cinematheque Awards

Following the Governor's awards, Tessa Thompson, Michael B. Jordan, Jayme Lawson and more hit the red carpet for the 9th American Cinematheque Award Ceremony which honored Michael B. Jordan at The Beverly Hilton on Thursday(November 20th) in Beverly Hills, California.

Tessa Thompson looked gorgeous in a yellow strapless leather PROENZA SCHOULER SPRING 2026 dress with a cascading ruffle side slit detail. I love this color and keeping the styling simple so that nothing competes with her bold hue was key. The dress fit her nicely and the TABAYER gold and the GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI sandals put the finished touches on her look.

Michael B. Jordan wore a LOUIS VUITTON velvet tuxedo jacket which was adorned with a white pocket square. He looked great, but those pants needed to be hemmed.

Miles Caton who performed at the event, rocked a DIALLO jacket which was styled with a white button down shirt adorned with a black tie and khaki trousers. The Yankees trucker hat added a subtle edge to his look, while the two-tone loafers helped to tie his casual cool look together.

Jayme Lawson has been on a consistent style role and she served up a winning look once again thanks to DIOTIMA. Her black dress which stopped just above the ankles featured velvet panels along the top and waist. A flawless beauty look and crisscross strappy sandals finished up her look.

Mahershala Ali made a rare appearance wearing a TOM FORD FALL 2025 suit. He looked great no doubt, but it's unfortunate that the pants weren't hemmed.
