2026 Film Independent Spirit Awards

Hosted by Ego Nwodim, the 2026 Film Independent Spirit Awards was held at the Hollywood Palladium on Sunday(February 15th) in LA.

Tessa Thompson wore COLLINA STRADA FALL 2026 sheer black floral dress with a draped off-the-shoulder dress and a floral panel on the bodice. I would have liked this lined, but it's not a bad look. ROUVENAT jewelry finished up her look.

Regina King rocked a ETRO SPRING 2026  metallic floral and paisley motif halter jumpsuit with exaggerated balloon legs. I love this. It's a pretty and fun, and she looked beautiful. However, I wish that she kept the belt, but it doesn't hurt her look without it.

Rose Byrne wore a LOEWE SPRING 2026 black cascading ruffle cutout dress. The dress was shown in a similar short version without the cutout on the runway. The cutout adds a flirty touch which I don't think that it needed. Nonetheless, she looked pretty.

Lamorne Morris and John Magaro wore suits by CANALI. Lamorne wore a brown peak lapel double breasted blazer with the matching brown straight leg trouser and he looked great. John opted for a blue plaid double breasted peak lapel blazer paired with straight leg trousers and black button up shirt. I feel like the shirt should have been white and the pants needed to be hemmed.

Ego Nwodim who hosted the awards show, looked pretty wearing a GIAMBATTISTA VALLI black shimmery lace, midi corset dress.

Frances Turner looked pretty wearing the SIMKHAI 'Joy' white guipure lace dress.

Jenny Slate wore a sheer black ALTUZARRA FALL 2025 floor length dress with a black bra and briefs underneath for coverage. I think the only thing missing is a necklace.

Natasha Rothwell wore a LANVIN white long dress in plumetis silk. A belt was definitely needed to balance her look. Also, I would swap out those black heels for silver or gold metallic.

Poorna Jagannathan could not be missed in a chartreuse strapless, draped cape back dress from the PRABAL GURUNG SPRING 2026 collection. I don't think this is a bad look, but the color doesn't work in her favor.

Jane Levy wore a GABRIELA HEARST FALL 2025 black strapless, snake embossed and pleated crepe dress. I feel like the GABRIEL & CO jewelry that she is wearing wasn't enough to elevate her look.

Wunmi Mosaku looked beautiful as always wearing the AQUAMAIA 'Anira' mustard yellow plisse maxi dress with an exaggerated off-the-shoulder detail.

Rebecca Hall coordinated with the carpet and the back drop by wearing a cobalt blue cutout dress from the JIL SANDER SPRING 2026 collection. This is so underwhelming for her and I really dislike the shoes. JACQUIE AICHE jewelry finished up her look.

Dree Hemingway looked great wearing a CHLOE SPRING 2026 draped floral, knot detail dress. I just wish the shoes were yellow or white and not transparent.

Nina Dobrev wore a CAROLINA HERRERA SPRING 2026 yellow and red floral strapless gown. The gown works for the occasion, but it looks better on the model. Either way, I still dislike the neckline. EFFY jewelry and a TYLER ELLIS clutch finished up her look.

Zoey Deutch wore head to toe VALENTINO SPRING 2026. The dark sunglasses added a cool, edgy finish to her look. However, I find this more suited for a photocall or press conference. Also, I wish that she wore the red heels instead of the black.

Kirsten Dusnt wore a VALENTINO PRE-FALL 2026 floral dress with a tie waist. I actually like the print, and even though I dislike the design of the top, the dress suits her.

Keke Palmer went the vintage route, wearing a CHRISTIAN DIOR by JOHN GALLIANO SPRING 2004 dress. Granted, the dress looks better on Keke than it did on the model, but it's still not working for me.

Amy Madigan wore a white tie-neck blouse and black belted trousers from the BOTTEGA VENETA SPRING 2026 collection. I actually like this for the occasion and it works because it's her. The fluid pieces come together in a chic manner. I just think the tie detail has too much fabric.

Issa Rae sparkled beautifully in the RETROFETE 'Melania' crystal dress in a gold-cinnamon hue. She topped off her look with HEARTS OF FIRE jewelry and LE SILLA sandals.

Nina Hoss wore a SIMONE ROCHA FALL 2025 black chain detail dress and if this looks familiar, that's because Rosamund Pike wore a similar version in red in April 2025. Although, I am not 100% sold on the shape of the dress, it's not a bad look for her.

Erin Doherty wore a LII SPRING 2026 black draped, cape detail dress. It's an interesting piece, but not a bad look.

Anna Camp wore a black and gold feather embellished halter dress from the LAPOINTE SPRING 2026 collection. I like the playful appeal of the dress, but the head styling doesn't compliment that.

Wagner Moura wore a single breasted suit by LOUIS VUITTON. It's not a bad look, he just needs a bigger size.

Jesse Plemons is never one to do anything interesting style wise, so this BUCK MASON suit is right up his style alley.

Xosha Roquemore wore a ALISADUDAJ knit halter dress with a coordinating coat. The dress is cute and I think she should have posed without it.

Taylor Dearden wore the custom KHOON HOOI 'Estelle' belted dress and a TAG HEUER watch. I'm not sold on this color, but I like the idea behind her look.

Dylan O'Brien went the casually cool route and he looked great in a CHRISTIAN DIOR PRE-FALL 2026 ensemble.

Archie Madekwe rocked a FERRAGAMO SPRING 2026 suit and I think the scarf was unnecessary, but I can't say that he looked bad. .

Kia Gerber posed in a GIVENCHY FALL 2026 black knitted jacquard mesh racer back pencil dress and she looked pretty.

Eva Victor dipped into the DONNA KARAN archives for the grey off-the-shoulder knit and silk dress. For me, this is on the boring side. Some jewelry could have liven her look up a bit.

Mary Bronstein was head to toe in RENAISSANCE RENAISSANCE FALL 2025. This looks better in the look book because of its editorial vibe. There is so much going on here and none of it is working.
