2026 New York City Ballet Spring Gala

On Thursday(May 7th) the 2026 New York City Ballet Spring Gala was held at the David H. Koch Theater, Lincoln Center in New York.

Diane Kruger wore a ERDEM FALL 2026 satin color-block embellished bow shoulder bra top and a playful feather skirt. I think the pieces would work separately, but not together. I could see the bra top being paired with trousers and the feather skirt with a basic tee or denim top.

Bianca Lawson stood out beautifully in a red strapless, liquid satin gown from the KATE BARTON SPRING 2026 collection. My only quibble with her look is the drape panel across the bodice. It adds an unflattering shape. I wonder if a belt could have made a difference. 

Emmy Rossum sparkled in a JULIE DE LIBRAN SPRING 2026 COUTURE black and semi-sheer sequin gown which was partially lined for coverage. I want to remove the black rose appliqué on the neckline because I don't think it was needed. Nonetheless, she still looked pretty.

Afiya Bennett looked gorgeous wearing a RAHUL MISHRA SPRING 2026 COUTURE black strapless, sparkly gown. Her beauty look was kept simple so that nothing competes with her gown. 

Hari Nef wore a MISS CLAIRE SULLIVAN strapless balloon gown which was shown in the look book in a shorter version. Although, the longer version on Hari looks better, the color doesn't work on her, the neckline looks tight and the shape is not flattering. 

Olivia Palermo kept it simple, wearing the KHAITE 'Daria' black sleeveless, satin mock neck mini dress. A touch of sparkles came via her PASQUALE BRUNI rings. This is just okay for me, especially compared to the other guests. Her look is forgettable.
