79th Cannes Film Festival 'A Women's Life' Premiere

Following the opening ceremony, Demi Moore, Gong Li and more hit the red carper for the ''A Women's Life'' screening during the 79th annual Cannes Film Festival which was held at the Palais des Festivals on Wednesday(May 13th) in Cannes, France.

Aja Naomi King returned to the carpet wearing a white ruffle embroidered dress by MIU MIU which was layered for coverage. She looked pretty in this dress even though the ruffle sleeves aren't my favorite.

Gillian Anderson also wore a white dress by MIU MIU. The detailing of the top seems to be a signature for the fashion house because I have seen very similar designs before. She looked pretty no doubt but the designs feel so dated.

Hannah Einbinder wore a CELINE two-tone dress which featured a white short sleeve, mock neck top and a champagne satin skirt. I wonder if the addition of a belt would have added balance. Either way, I'm not sold on this dress. It looks so low quality for this festival.

Demi Moore wore a purple organza off-the-shoulder gown by GUCCI. I love the color and that's all.

Melanie Thierry wore a custom CHRISTIAN DIOR silk and lace slip dress with a draped panel on the side. I'm not sure how this design came about, but it should have stayed where it started.

Araya Hargate wore a black GIORGIO ARMANI PRIVE FALL 2025 COUTURE cut-out dress. I think the bow bust would have worked if there were no cutout. Also, the necklace, earrings and the top are competing with each other. She probably should have left the necklace out.

Gong Li could not be missed wearing this KITX FALL 2023 cobalt blue silk-chiffon layered dress which was belted at the waist. I am glad that she added a different belt, but I'm not sure if that black belt was the right choice.
