On Monday(May 4th) some celebs stepped out in VALENTINO for the 2026 Met Gala Celebrating ‘Costume Art’ which was held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
Colman Domingo never misses and he delivered on the theme by wearing a custom look that referenced Picasso’s harlequin 1901 painting which was perfectly done.
Tyla wore a custom silver embellished and turquoise silk dress. She is beautiful no doubt, but the theme is lost here and the shoes are hideous.
Maude Apatow wore a black SPRING 2026 COUTURE cutout semi-sheer halter dress with a bow on the waist. The shoes and tights don't work here and I feel like this is more suited for someone on the taller side. However, she is not on theme.
Dree Hemingway didn't give us a custom look, instead she wore a runway piece from the brand's SPRING 2026 COUTURE collection. Even though I am not a fan of the color on her, she definitely understood the theme assignment.
