On Tuesday(June 30th) Haley Bennett hit the carpet for the premiere off''Virginia Woolf's Night & Day'' which was held during the 43rd Munich Film Festival at the HFF Audimax in Munich, Germany.
Showing just a little leg, she wore a black and silver slit detail, and belted peplum dress from the LANVIN PRE-FALL 2026 collection. The dress also featured a ruffle neckline with silver trimming throughout.
In the look book, the peplum detail is solid black with silver trimming. However, for Haley's dress, the detail was slightly modified. The metallic peplum and belt on Haley's dress adds just a little too much shine, and it makes the silver pipping down the middle of the skirt feel so unnecessary.
The look book version is more impactful and chicer in subtle way without the extra shine. I think either way, I like this dress, but I am leaning more towards the look book version. I still feel the silver pipping on the skirt wasn't needed, but it looks slightly better in the look book.
Also, I am going to nitpick about those mules which are also from the fashion house. I think a simple ankle strap heel or sleek pump would have been a better shoe choice. It's not a good looking mule and it doesn't compliment the tone of the dress. What do you think of Haley's look?
