Following her arrival look, Kate Mara along with sister Rooney Mara attended the ''Bucking Fastard'' photocall during the 83rd Venice International Film Festival at the Palazzo del Casino on Thursday(September 3rd) in Venice, Italy.
Kate Mara wore a ALEXANDER MCQUEEN FALL 2026 black floral lace dress which was layered with a white embroidered mock neck. The layered approach instantly transformed this romantic piece into a chic, everyday fall outfit. I would have loved to see her wearing ankle boots for 70's mod inspiration, but instead she opted to dress up her piece with white ankle strap sandals.
Rooney Mara posed in a monochromatic matching set courtesy of STELLA MCCARTNEY. Her SPRING 2026 set featured a white pleated top with the matching pleated high-low hem skirt. The pleat detail gives the fabric a gorgeous texture that catches the light beautifully, while the halter neckline draws the eyes upward to frame the shoulders. But the eye-catching detail here is the high-low hemline. It provides the elegance of a maxi skirt from the back with the fun, leg-lengthening pop of a mini from the front. Rooney is known for her minimal styling approach and in this case, it worked for her.
