'The Gilded Age' Season 4 NY Premiere

On Tuesday(October 26th) the cast and more of HBO's ''The Gilded Age'' hit the red carpet for the premiere of season 4 which was held at the AXA Equitable Center in New York. 

Ben Ahlers wore a KENZO which had the potential to be a great look for him, but I have some quibbles. I don't think that he needed the cummerbund and the pants needed to be hemmed. 

Denee Benton looked pretty in a strapless vintage BOB MACKIE black and silver embellished ankle-length dress. My only callout about her look are the shoes. She needed a simple black open-toe mule that's not focus-pulling like the pair that she is wearing. 

Rebecca Hall wore a MAISON MARGIELA FALL 2026 dress. The dress is right up her style alley but I feel like a belt was needed. However, I am still not a fan of the dress.

Amy Forsyth wore a MARCHESA PRE-FALL 2025 navy silk off-the-shoulder, asymmetrical dress with contrasting black tulle panels. I wish this dress was in a different color. Also, the fit and the design of the top are not flattering. 

Audra McDonald wore a BIBHU MOHAPATRA RESORT 2025 two-tone embellished dress. Taking a cue from the lookbook’s styling, Audra added a pop of color to her look via her green satin pumps. VERDURA jewelry and ROGER VIVIER pumps finished up her look. 

Morgan Spector wore head-to-toe MAISON MARGIELA FALL 2026. The fit and the all-white doesn't work for me, but the shoes are a bit hideous. 

Carrie Coon wore a light blue latex and floral bubble-hem dress from the ACNE STUDIOS SPRING 2027 collection. I like the she takes risks, but this one I can't get on board with. It doesn't work on the model, so it's not surprising that it's not working on Carrie. 

Celia Keenan-Bolger wore the MARKARIAN FALL 2026 'Neroli' black satin and velvet ruffle panel gown. I think this would have been better if the head styling complemented her gown and if she wore some jewelry. 

Cynthia Nixon wore a white sleeveless fringe dress from the EDELINE LEE SPRING 2026 collection. She is definitely missing a belt and some jewelry.

Kelley Curran wore a LEIN soft mint, pleated draped gown. I like this gown on her, but she could have used some jewelry.

Louisa Jacobson showed a little skin wearing a CONNOR IVES SPRING 2027 outfit. In theory she looked great, but the cummerbund is distracting and unnecessary. 

Taissa Farmiga wore the GALVAN 'Crystalline' dress which featured a fluid knit dress with a crystallized built-in bra top. I am guessing jewelry was banned. I would have liked to see her wearing some as well. 

Taylor Richardson wore a BIBHU MOHAPATRA RESORT 2027 dress and there are some things going on, and it's not working together. The gloves were not needed, but the design of the dress is not working for me. Kudos to her for taking a risk even though it didn't payoff.
