Lupita Nyong'o, Dua Lipa & Jenni in Chanel Couture at the 2025 Met Gala Celebrating ''Superfine: Tailoring Black Style''

Lupita Nyong'o, Dua Lipa and Jenni wore CHANEL COUTURE on Monday(May 5th) to the 2025 Met Gala Celebrating ''Superfine: Tailoring Black Style'' which was held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

Lupita Nyong'o looked stunning in this pastel blue double-breasted suit which was adorned with a matching silk-chiffon cape. This was perfection in my opinion with playful, but elegant homage to Little Richard. Her hat was courtesy of MAISON MICHEL.

Dua Lipa's look was inspired by the label's FALL 2015 COUTURE collection and her dress was adorned with 45,000 embroidered details. Dua's piece came with a crop jacket which she removed, but I wish that she kept it on for pictures on the red carpet. It really added to the meaning of her look and somehow it got lost without it.

Dua Lipa in Schiaparelli at the 50th Chaplin Award Gala

On Monday(April 28th) Dua Lipa hit the black carpet for the 50th Chaplin Award Gala which wad held at Alice Tully Hall inside the Lincoln Centre in New York City.

Whether you like her style or not, Dua and her stylist Lorenzo has the perfect fashion marriage. For this occasion, she chose a look from the SCHIAPARELLI FALL 2025 collection. I think the dress in general suits her, but the fact that I can see her underwear doesn't work for me. 

The head styling doesn't compliment the tone of the dress and I am confused as to why the pumps were a choice with this dress. Overall, I don'r think that she pulled this off. What do you think of Dua's look?

On Saturday(March 2nd) some celebs descended on the carpet for the 2024 BRIT Awards which took place at The O2 Arena in London.

Charli XCX wore a custom MARNI strapless, color-block gown. I'm not sure what's going on here but I'm not loving. It's a unique piece but the bottom half looks like sheets draped off of her waist. 

Dua Lipa wore a VERSACE black leather, floor length dress. I don't think the head styling compliments this sexy dress.

Today(January 24th) in London, the cast of 'Argylle' stepped out for the premiere which was held at the Odeon Luxe cinema in Leicester Square. 

Sofia Boutella showed off her toned abs in a crystal embellished crop top with the matching floor length skirt from the CAROLINA HERRERA SPRING 2024 collection. This is simple but cute. However, I wish that she kept the purple belt because the pop of color added a cool, edgy finish.

Kerry Washington looked pretty wearing a PRADA 3D floral frock with metallic accessories. The shape looks slightly off but she is selling it and her beauty look is flawless. 

Camila Cabello wore a Vintage JOHN GALLIANO and this would have been great if it was in a different color. Also, those mules don't work with it.

Dual Lipa hit the red carpet this evening(May 19th) with her new boyfriend for the premiere of ''Omar la Fraise'' (The King of Algiers) during the 76th Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France.

Dua has great style and her stylist almost always seems to get in her fashionable pieces. For this occasion, she wore a custom CELINE by Hedi Slimane dress. Her black one-shoulder, floor length gazing dress featured slashed details on the bodice and a thigh-high split. 

Her dress is simple and sexy but it doesn't excite. I feel like she needed a statement jewelry and/or a red lip to enhance her look. Also, I am not crazy about the hairstyle. Overall, it's not a bad look, it was just okay. What do you think of Dua's look?

Dua Lipa just dropped a new single with Miley Cyrus and she also performed yesterday(November 19th) on The Graham Norton Show in London. 

The singer gave a sparkly performance wearing a VALENTINO FALL 2020 COUTURE silver sequin fringe, floor sweeping cape dress. I am sure this has a little weight to it but it does may a great performance piece.
