2019 CMT Music Awards Wrap-up

Sarah Hyland, Kate Bosworth, Michelle Monaghan and more attended the 2019 CMT Music Award at the Bridgestone Arena yesterday evening(June 5th) in Nashville, Tennessee.

Carrie Underwood walked away a winner and performed at the event but before all of that, she posed on the carper in a MICHAEL CINCO beaded embroidered mini dress. A sheer nude panel was added to the v-neckline for coverage. She looks great but this feels familiar for her.

Last night(January 30th) the red carpet premiere of 'Miss Bala' took place at Regal LA Live Stadium 14 in LA.

Gina Rodriguez who stars in the film, wore a red STAR by JULIEN MACDONALD floor length sequin dress featuring a front hem slit and contrasting black leather piping. This is a simple but great look for the actress. EF COLLECTION earrings, EFFY rings, and JIMMY CHOO pumps rounded out her look.

On Tuesday(August 28th) Sarah Bolger and Carla Baratta attended the premiere of  FX's 'Mayans M.C.' at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California.

Sarah Bolger looked great in a TEMERPELY LONDON SPRING 2018 strapless navy tulle & gold beaded dress, featuring a belted waist. Side parted curls, a red lip and gold sandals wrapped up her look. 

Carla Barratta wore a JOHN PAUL ATAKER FALL 2018 black strapless, double-breasted vest and black viscose legging pants. I kinda wish she added a colors lip for a touch of color but she still looked great. EFFY & GRAZIELA GEMS jewelry and JIMMY CHOO pumps topped off her look.

Regina King, Adina Porter & Sarah Drew at the Emmys Performer Peer Group Celebration

Yesterday evening(August 20th) Regina King, Adina Porter and Sarah Drew hit the red carpet for the Emmys Performer Peer Group Celebration at NeueHouse Hollywood in LA.

Regina King shimmered in a MISSONI metallic lame, multicolor striped, one-shoulder gown which was accessorized with a gold statement jewelry. Allowing nothing to overshadow her stripe look, she went with minimal makeup and a braided off-the-shoulder hairstyle. 

Adina Porter wore a JOHN PAUL ATAKER FALL 2017 black floral jacquard blazer with the matching wide-leg trousers. I think this is a great look and the braless look added a sultry appeal to her chic suit. 

Sarah Drew wore a LEILOU white & black lace embroidered dress which stopped just above her ankles. Sarah looks great but the dress feels a tad bit over-designed. I would remove the laces on the v-neckline. Also a simpler style sandal would have been ideal.

Last night(October 25th) Isabela Moner & Sofia Carson attended the 2017 Princess Grace Awards Gala at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, CA.

Isabela Moner looked beautiful in a JOHN PAUL ATAKER SPRING 2018 black strapless layered tulle pleated gown with one spaghetti strap on the shoulder. On the beauty end, she complimented her look with a pulled back short hairstyle and smokey eyes, offset with a nude lip. JOELLE diamond ear cuffs, LE VIAN diamond earrings & rings and BORGIONI & DJULA diamond rings finished up her look.

Sofia Carson also looked beautiful wearing a MONIQUE LHUILLIER FALL 2016 strapless layered tulle gown with floral accents and the matching cape. However my only quibble is that I wish she added a colored lip to her beauty look.

Aly Michalka & Rose McIver attended the 'iZombie' 2017 San Diego Comic Con photocall on Friday(July 21st) at the Bayfront Hilton in San Diego, CA.

Aly Michalka wore a CREATURES OF THE WIND SPRING 2017 black printed dress which stopped just above her ankles and featured three-quarter sleeves, an asymmetrical v-neckline and contrasting white lace embroidery. A wavy hairstyle and wine ankle strap sandals finished up her look. 

Rose McIver wore a JOHN PAUL ATAKER SPRING 2017 light blue sleeveless ruffle viscose jacquard top with the matching layered, pleated wide-leg trousers. Because of her height, wearing the pants lower on the waist versus higher like shown on the model worked better for her. However they are a little too long on her.

Chrissy Teigen supported hubby John Legend at the Oscars and and she supported him yesterday evening(February 28th) at the WGN America 'Underground' TV Series Season 2 premiere at the Mann Village Theatre in LA. 

She hit the red carpet in a JOHN PAUL ATAKER FALL 2016 black ensemble which featured a crossover hi lo dress with the matching skinny leg trousers. 

Chrissy's ensemble hit the runway in red which I prefer and think she could have pulled off as well. However she still looked great. Side parted waves, a gold & black clutch, ESTABLISH JEWELRY earrings, EFFY rings and the STELLA LUNA SPRING 2017 'Stella' sandals finished up her look.

Olivia Culpo in John Paul Ataker at the Forevermark Black Label Collection Launch

Last night(November 17th) Olivia Culpo attended the Forevermark Black Label Collection Launch at Cedar Lake in New York. Forevermark introduced it's partnership with artist Angie Crabtree and a new generation of diamonds, cut with supreme symmetry & unprecedented accuracy to release a dazzling light. 

She hit the black carpet in a JOHN PAUL ATAKER SPRING 2017 ensemble which featured a sleeveless pleated, asymmetrical top and white ankle length pants. I really like this ensemble and it looks great on Olivia. 

However she lost me with the black EDIE PARKER clutch and black JIMMY CHOO pumps. They were a safe choice which doesn't coordinate with her ensemble. Other than that, she looked great. What do you think of Olivia's look?

Laverne Cox, Teyonah Parris & Naturi Naughton at the 47th NAACP Image Awards Nominees' Luncheon

On Saturday(January 23rd) Laverne Cox, Teyonah Parris & Naturi Naughton attended the 47th NAACP Image Awards Nominees' Luncheon at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.

Laverne Cox stood out in a ROLAND MOURET one-should peplum sheath crepe dress with an asymmetrical neckline. Love the color & dress on Laverne but I wish the hair was off-the-shoulder and she opted for a simple ankle strap sandal over her STELLA HUES pumps. A pink lip completed her look. 

Teyonah Parris was perhaps my favorite out of the bunch as she looked lovely in a JOHN PAUL ATAKER SPRING 2016 white halter tuxedo jumpsuit with a crossover panel. A natural pinned up-do, a colored lip and the STUART WIETZMAN 'Nudist' sandal topped off her beautiful look. 

Naturi Naughton wore a cobalt blue & black paisley embroidered crop jacket with the matching halter dress. I like the dress but she should have left the jacket out because it feels matronly with it and it just too much going on. Also I think a simple ankle strap or strappy sandal would have been ideal over the peep-toe black & silver embellished pumps.
