63rd Grammy Awards

The 63rd Grammy awards took place last night at the Los Angeles Convention Center in LA and the show was slightly different due to the pandemic. Only performers, presenters and nominees were in attendance and naturally everyone was socially distanced while sitting. Also the red carpet was limited, so check out a few looks from the occasion. 

Beyonce who sneaked in mid-show, made history becoming the first female to have won the most Grammy awards ever. She wore a custom SCHIAPARELLI COUTURE  black gathered minidress, gloves with trompe l’œil gold fingernails and a pair of drop earrings in gilded brass and enamel made up of a cascade of surrealist elements from the SPRING 2021 COUTURE collection. She also accessorized with sheer black tights with JIMMY CHOO sandals. The statement earrings & the black panther inspired gloves is what keeps her look interesting. However the fit around the bust looks off. It doesn't excite for me but this isn't a bad look though, it's still sexy & edgy and perfect for the occasion.

Hailee Steinfeld in Aadnevik at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards

Hailee Steinfeld was a presenter this evening(August 26th) at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Serving up some leg action, she wore a red AADNEVIK SPRING 2019 sheer red embroidered ankle length dress, with a scoop neckline and double side splits. This sexy red hue is what makes her standout. 

Playing off of her vibrant red hue, she added the matching hue to her lips and she wore red satin sandals. Sparkles came via her diamond rings which topped off her look along with off-the-shoulder tresses.

Instagram Style: Olivia Culpo in Aadnevik at the Sports Illustrated Party

On Saturday(May 11th) Olivia Culpo snapped a picture for instagram on her way to a Sports Illustrated party in Miami, Florida. 

She posed for the gram wearing a see-through AADNEVIK FALL 2019 white crisscross strap halter dress featuring a deep v-neckline and a high center front split. When Olivia posted this photo on instagram, she noted that she really couldn't breathe it and I agree because this dress looks extremely tight on the bust.

Halsey in Aadnevik at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards

Halsey performed this evening(May 1st) at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV.

She posed on the red carpet wearing a AADNEVIK FALL 2019 strapless black lace and electric blue taffeta, split neck gown, and a thigh-high split which she utilized. The fit on the bust is questionable but this sexy, feminine gown is right up Halsey's style alley. 

However she should have never added that blue lip. She needed something a bit softer because the gown is suppose to be the focal point here. BRIAN ATWOOD sandals finished up her look.

Following the Paris premiere, Josephine Langford and more attended the premiere of 'After' yesterday(April 8th) at The Grove in LA.

Josephine Langford was on tune with the carpet,  sparkling in a red jewel embellished power suit from the ALBERTA FERRETTI LIMITED EDITION FALL 2018 COUTURE collection. On this occasion, the black JIMMY CHOO pumps were a great choice to offset her sparkly look. But the red platform sandals would have been great also. Halle Berry has been busy filming movies but the actress stepped out yesterday(December 5th) for the 2019 Pirelli Calendar launch gala at HangarBicocca in Milan, Italy. 

Serving up a little leg action, she wore a AADNEVIK SPRING 2018 long sleeve pink & lavender ruffle printed dress, featuring a v-neckline, a nipped in waist and a split detail.

Jourdan Dunn in Aadnevik at the 2018 MTV EMAs

Jourdan Dunn was a presenter at the 2018 MTV EMAs at Bilbao Exhibition Centre on yesterday(November 4th) in Bilbao, Spain.

Jourdan wore a AADNEVIK FALL 2018 see-through periwinkle sequin, one-shoulder ruffle dress which featured a thigh-high split. The dress is right up Jourdan's style alley but the nude cup showing is what putting me off from liking this look. 

It is actually suppose to be that way as you can see on the model. However it is not visible on the model, which is why I wish Jourdan changed it or removed it. Beauty look is flawless though. What do you think of Jourdan's dress?

2018 amfAR LA Gala

Last night(October 18th) the 2018 amfAR LA gala took place at the Wallis Annenberg Center for Performing Arts in Beverly Hills.

Victoria Justice stood out the most wearing vibrant AADENVIK SPRING 2019 neon green tier dress which she accessorized with APM MONACO jewelry and a silver clutch. 

Katy Perry almost always takes a fashion risk and this look was no different. She wore a custom ALEXIS MABILLE FALL 2018 light blue feather embellished gown. This reminds me of something very similar that we have seen on Beyonce by a different designer. 

Kat Graham wore a black DSQUARED2 ruffle gown which was teamed with LANVIN accessories, sheer black gloves and statement earrings.

Jasmine Tookes was beautiful in a AADNEVIK FALL 2018 white chiffon and french lace gown, featuring leather trimming and a tier, split detail skirt. My only quibble is that a looks a tad tight on the bust but this still was a dreamy, romantic look. 

Shanina Shaik also wore white, courtesy of JONATHAN SIMKHAI. Her FALL 2018 slip gown featured spaghetti straps, a v-neckline, cascading tier pleats and allover lace. She finished up her sultry, beautiful look with statement jewelry and a complimentary beauty look.

Kelsea Ballerini wore a AADNEVIK SPRING 2016 white silk-chiffon & lace panel halter dress with a split detail. Kelsea's dress doesn't appear as sheer as presented on the runway but the newly married singer looked pretty in this feminine, sultry dress. ROBERTO BRAVO jewelry and STUART WEITZMAN sandals finished up her look. 

Nicole Kidman who on hand to support her hubby, wore a custom MICHAEL KORS COLLECTION gold sequin floor sweeping dress with bishop sleeves, a high neckline and a cutout back. As always with sequins, it can appear a tad bit unflattering in the midsection. Love the color but I can't say that I am crazy about it on her. Also even though she is wearing colored stone FRED LEIGHTON jewelry, it doesn't help. Nonetheless, this is not a bad look. 

Rebecca Romijn wore presented wearing a UEL CAMILO FALL 2017 long sleeves beaded & black sheer panel dress which she accessorized with L'DEZEN jewelry and a black & gold beaded clutch. On the beauty end, she went with minimal make-up and pulled back tresses.

On Friday(September 8th) Harper's Bazaar 'ICONS By Carine Roitfeld' party took place at The Plaza Hotel which was presented by Infor, Laura Mercier, Stella Artois, FUJIFILM and SWAROVSKI in New York City.

Selena Gomez looked simply pretty in a VALENTINO FALL 2017 COUTURE pink long sleeve, turtleneck dress which was accessorized with TIFFANY & CO jewelry, a green PRADA clutch and red STUART WEITZMAN sandals. 

Jared Leto continues to show his love for GUCCI wearing another FALL 2017 suit. His two-piece floral suit was teamed with a pink & red floral shirt underneath. My only issue here is that I wish he had the pants hemmed.

Ciara looked great as well since giving birth to her baby girl. She wore a RASARIO PRE-FALL 2017 shimmery purple coat with the matching crossover, split detail & cut-out dress. STUART WEITZMAN sandals, side parted straight tresses and minimal make-up finished up her look.

Ciara showed off her growing baby bump wearing a RHEA COSTA black long sleeve velvet off-the-shoulder dress with a center front split and a contrasting satin tie waist. Even though a colored lip wouldn't have hurt, she stilled looked very pretty. GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI sandals, off-the-shoulder straight tresses and a choker & cross necklace finished up her look.

Nicole Richie wore a black CHRISTIAN DIOR tie off-the-shoulder floor length dress. The sleeves looks a little too loos but I do like the dress. A sleek, complimentary up-do, wing tip eyes and SARAH FLINT heels finished up her look.

Peyton List looked really cute in the MARTHA MEDEIROS ‘Nadia Tata’ long sleeve powder blue lace embroidered mini dress with a matching floral neckline. The lip is a bit dark with this  light colored dress but she still looked cute. RANDALL SCOTT fine jewelry, a metallic clutch & ankle strap pumps and a complimentary up-do topped off her look.
