On Monday(May 5th) the 2025 Met Gala Celebrating ''Superfine: Tailoring Black Style'' was held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Colman Domingo wore two different custom looks by VALENTINO and he looked good in both of them. The electric blue, embroidered pleated cape was an ode to Andre Leon Tally and I just loved the color on him. He then switched into a black and white suit which featured a grid print, polka dots and grey cuffed trousers. His looks never disappoints.

Lauryn Hill in Dsquared2 & Prada at the 2017 Kaya Music Festival

One of my top favorite singers of all time Lauryn Hill took the stage on Saturday(April 22nd) at the 2017 Kaya Music Festival 2017 at the Bayfront Park Ampitheatre in Miami, FL.

When it comes to style, she easily stands alone. She hit the stage in a DSQUARED2 SPRING 2017 leopard puffy sleeve bolero & RESORT 2017 black & white lace sandal-boots and a PRADA SPRING 2017 black feather panel dress with a basic white tee & a sheer printed long sleeve catsuit underneath. 

While Lauryn's dress was belted at the waist, I wish it was a bit more tailored to her body for a more flattering appeal. The styling of her look definitely suits her. Are you feeling Lauryn's performance look?
