On Saturday(November 20th) the 2021 Soul Train Awards which was presented by BET, took place at The Apollo Theater in New York City.

Ashanti was on hand to receive the ''Lady of Soul'' award wearing a dramatic CHRISTIAN SIRIANO black strapless gown. This is definitely different from her usually sexy, cutout dresses and for this occasion, I am glad that she went this route. She looked beautiful but I feel like she needed a necklace.

Paula Patton was spotted arriving for an appearance on Live with Kelly & Ryan this morning(November 3rd) in New York which she talked her movie ''Sacrifice'', dating and so much more. 

She stepped out in light wash, cropped jeans which she wore with a MOSCHINO FALL 2021 tweed embellished jacket and a printed shirt with the matching bag. For the actually live show, she ditched the jeans for the matching skirt and you can see the full look via her instagram HERE.

I like the idea of the jacket & the shirt with the jeans but I am not feeling style on Paula. I think it's the pleated waist and also I'm not feeling her shoe choice.This could have been great with a little editing. What do you think of Paula's look?

Paula Patton was spotted arriving for an appearance at the AOL Build Series in New York today(December 18th) to discuss her new film 'Sacarfice'. 

She arrived wearing head to toe CHANEL which featured a RESORT 2020 black tweed panel sweater dress and the brand's signature white & black toe cap ankle boots. 

It's freezing in the big apple so naturally she layered her boots with black opaque tights and she kept warm in a black coat. A half-up, half-down curly hairstyle and red lip topped off her look.

It's been a while since I have seen Paula Patton on the red carpet but she returned for the premiere of her new BET+ and Footage Film's 'Sacrifice't at the Landmark Theatre yesterday evening(December 11th) in LA.

Paula hasn't really had any memorable fashion moments but she did look great in this GUCCI FALL 2019 blue utilitarian denim jumpsuit, which was belted at the waist. I kinda wish she left the top two buttons un-done but I really like this jumpsuit and she still looked great in it.

On the beauty end, she kept things simple with a red lip and a high ponytail which put the finishing touches on her look along with gold hoops and gold CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN sandals.

The 47th AFI Life Achievement Award honoring Denzel Washington took place yesterday evening(June 6th) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.

Chadwick Boseman was on his style game as always, rocking a GIVENCHY SPRING 2019 petrol blue & black sequin two-piece suit, shirt & tie and logo dress shoes. I can fuss about that hem but that does hurt the overall appeal of his look. It's always a joy to see him on the carpet because he is one of the few men who doesn't play it safe fashion wise.

Following some promotional appearances in New York, Paula Patton jetted back to LA to attended the premiere of her new film 'Traffik' at ArcLight Hollywood yesterday evening(April 19th). 

Marking her return to Hollywood, Paula has switched up her look, adding a edgy blonde, short layered cut to her beauty look. She posed on the red carpet wearing a GUCCI floral biker jacket, logo tank top and a pink metallic pleated skirt. 

I like that Paula has finally taken a new approach when it comes to her fashion choices. However while I like the pieces that she is wearing I don't think they coordinate together. Gold jewelry, white THE ROW boots and pink lips finished up her look. Did Paula sell you on her new look?

Paula Patton made her way back to the red carpet yesterday evening(June 20th) for the 57th Monte Carlo TV Festival closing ceremony in Monte-Carlo, Monaco.

While most of the female attendees showed up in floor length dresses & gowns, Paula opted for the SELF-PORTRAIT 'Azaelea' sky blue guipure lace dress with spaghetti straps, lattice cut-outs and nude underlining for coverage. 

While this is not a wow moment, it is definitely one of her best looks in my opinion. Gold jewelry, nude tie around sandals and side parted, behind-the-ear tresses finished up her look.

Paula Patton in Alexander McQueen at the 15th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball

After doing some promotions in NYC, Paula Patton jetted back to California to attend the 15th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball which was held at a private residence in Brentwood.

She hit the carpet in a ALEXANDER MCQUEEN RESORT 2016 black satin trim, silk bland jacquard and tulle dress with a bustier top, delicate snowdrops & leaves and a drop waist hem. The dress was toughen up in the look book with a printed leather jacket & lace-up oxfords but Paula of course went the dressy route. 

I am glad that she ditched the belt the dress was featured with because it was not needed. However I wish she did something more interesting with the hair & make-up. This lingerie inspired dress is on trend and fits nicely on Paula. It doesn't scream wow but it is definitely one of her best looks.

When it comes to style, I always feel like Paula Patton misses the mark but on this occasion I find myself liking her look. Yesterday she attended the 'Warcraft: The Beginning' screening at the BFI IMAX Cinema in London.

She hit the red carpet in the MARIA LUCIA HOHAN 'Aveny' silk pleated midi dress with intricate embroideries applied to the corset structured bodice, spaghetti straps and skin tone tulle inserts to enhance the waist.

On the beauty end, she went with side swept curls with a braid detail and a light smokey eye offset with a pink lip & cheeks. I can't say that I like the hairstyle and a colored lip was needed for balance but this is still one of her best looks in a while. The JEROME C. ROUSSEAU 'Malibu' sandals finished up her look. The Perfect Match LA Premiere

Last night celebs hit the red carpet at the premiere of The Perfect Match at the ArcLight Hollywood Cinemas in LA.

Terrence Jenkins I thought looked great in a ERMENEGILDO ZEGNA two-tone tuxedo which featured a plum & black lapel jacket and black trousers paired with a black bow tie, a white button down shirt and shiny shoes. 

Cassie Ventura wore a STELLO gold and black sequin halter gown with a plunging neckline and a open-back. Beauty wise, she went with a kohl rimmed eye offset with a nude shiny lip and side swept waves. I am not sold on the quality of the gown and I think it's just too much fabric at the hem. 

Jennifer Lopez wore a CUSHNIE ET OCHS SPRING 2016 mint side button v-neck fitted dress with a razor back. She offset her dress with coordinating accessories which featured a VALENTINO clutch and LOUBOUTIN shimmery pumps. A pink lip and layered topped off her look.

When it comes to red carpet style, Paula Patton always falls short. She made an rare appearance on Sunday(February 28th) at the 2016 Vanity Fair Oscar party at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, CA.  

She stepped out in a TADASHI SHOJI PRE-FALL 2016 black pleated chiffon halter gown with turquoise pipping, a triangle cut-out bodice, a colorful beaded neckline and a high split.

What really saddens me about her look is that no one told her that her breast & briefs were peeking out and this was the case in all of her images. This dress looks amazing on the model but doesn't have the effect on Paula. She is so beautiful but this is a no for me. What do you think of Paula's look?
