On Sunday(June 28th) Druski hosted the highly anticipated 2026 BET Awards which was held at the Peacock Theater in LA. 

Teyana Taylor beautifully served up some drama wearing a STEPHANE ROLLAND SPRING 2026 COUTURE gown. I love the color on her and her beauty look was simple but flawless. However, the beaded rectangle detail on the neckline is the only thing bugging me. I like the idea of having jewelry there, I think it's just the shape of it.

79th Tony Awards

On Sunday(June 7th) Pink hosted the 79th annual Tony Awards which was held at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. 

Rose Byrne looked pretty in a PRADA white embellished dress with contrasting black draped bows on the shoulder. I know that I have seen a similar design like this from the fashion, but I still like it. 

Lesley Manville showed off her décolletage in a custom LOEWE orange sequin off-the-shoulder dress with draped sleeves. I like the color, but I dislike the orange satin pumps, so thankfully they are not that visible.

Queen Latifah, Halle Berry and Whoopi Goldberg wore CHRISTIAN SIRIANO to the 97th Oscars which was held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday(March 2nd) in Hollywood, California.

Queen Latifah stood looked pretty in a custom red gown which she dressed up with diamond necklace. However, I feel like the fit is off and it's a little too long at the hem. 

Halle Berry looked stunning in a custom CHRISTIAN SIRIANO silver strapless, mirror embellished dress with a short train in the back. This is one of her best looks in a while.

Queen Latifah in Thom Browne at the 2022 The Grio Awards

We don't often to see Queen Latifah in dramatic looks but she gave us something extra for her attendance at the 2022 at The Grio Awards which was held at The Beverly Hilton on Saturday(October 22nd) in Beverly Hills, California.

The THOM BROWNE SPRING 2023 collection has a lot of bold and dramatic cape coats, with over-the-top details. RIP to the legendary Andre Leon Talley because I think that he would have loved this collection. These oversized, dramatic cape coats were all that he wore.   

However I feel like this piece was suited for the Queen but the over all styling needs to be edited. Remove the high-neck ruffle piece & the ruffles on the bodice and ditch the coordinating leather gloves, which are not visible. 

Also that gold like hue is the main issue here because it's not working on her. One thing is for sure, it's an eye-catching look. Head styling is flawless though. What do you think of the Queen's look?

Queen Latifah in Sergio Hudson at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards

Queen Latifah was a presenter at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards this evening(August 26th) at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

The rapper turned actress could not be missed on the red carpet wearing a vibrant orange SERGIO HUDSON FALL 2019 two piece suit, which was layered with a white camisole underneath. A fringe hem added playful movement and a fresh take on the power suit trend. 

I love how sexy and edgy the suits looks on the model but the Queen sold it in a more sophisticated manner that worked for her. LARUICCI jewelry, GIVENCHY sandals, a colored lip and side parted tresses rounded out her look.

'Girls Trip' LA Premiere Wrap-up

Regina Hall, Jada Pinkett Smith and more were on the red carpet yesterday evening(July 13th) for the premiere of Girls Trip at Regal Cinemas L.A. Live in LA.

Queen Latifah kept it simple black bracelet length sleeve top and white trousers. I can say that I am a fan of this look especially the look of the trousers. However I like her accessories and make-up.

Kelly Rowland wore a PORTS 1961 RESORT 2017 color-block pencil skirt with a frayed side panel which she styled with a black v-neck top. TAMARA MELLON sandals, center part curls and over-sized hooped finished up her look.

Tiffany Haddish wore a white ALEXANDER MCQUEEN floor length crepe halter gown with an embellished neckline. A pulled back bun, a silver clutch and minimal make-up finished up her look.

VH1 Hip Hop Honors: All Hail The Queens Wrap-up

Winnie Harlow, Kelly Rowland and more hit the pink carpet on Monday(July 11th) at the VH1 Hip Hop Honors: All Hail The Queens at the David Geffen Hall at Lincoln Center in New York.  

Queen Latifah who was one of the night's honorees worked her leg in a black high split kimono gown by MICHAEL COSTELLO. I wish she added a colored lip to spice things up but I still thought she was a beauty. 

Chanel Iman wore showed off her flat stomach wearing a ARE YOU AM I black long sleeve key hole crop top and white BARBARA BUI ankle length pants. A simple ponytail, smokey cat eye, a black clutch and the STUART WEITZMAN 'Nudist' sandals finished up her look. 

Keke Palmer who performed during the tribute to Salt'n'Pepa wore a BAJA EAST FALL 2016 metallic gold sheer panel slip dress with a high split detail. I am not feeling this at all, especially the pairing of the MESSIKA silver choker and how the dress sits on her bust. BALLY sandals and straight off-the-shoulder tresses finished up her look.

Joining her co-star Jennifer Garner, Queen Latifah hit the red carpet yesterday evening at the 'Miracles From Heaven' premiere at ArcLight Hollywood in Hollywood, CA. 

Rocking a summery look, she wore a ESCADA SPRING 2016 sleeveless mint v-neck ankle length jumpsuit with a crossover draped cape waist. 

I love the color and while it may not be the easiest piece to pull off, I think it worked for her. A smokey eye offset with a pink lip, side parted straight tresses, nude sandals, a silver statement clutch and beaded jewelry completed her look. Do you think the Queen pulled this look off?

The Perfect Match LA Premiere

Last night celebs hit the red carpet at the premiere of The Perfect Match at the ArcLight Hollywood Cinemas in LA.

Terrence Jenkins I thought looked great in a ERMENEGILDO ZEGNA two-tone tuxedo which featured a plum & black lapel jacket and black trousers paired with a black bow tie, a white button down shirt and shiny shoes. 

Cassie Ventura wore a STELLO gold and black sequin halter gown with a plunging neckline and a open-back. Beauty wise, she went with a kohl rimmed eye offset with a nude shiny lip and side swept waves. I am not sold on the quality of the gown and I think it's just too much fabric at the hem. 

Jennifer Lopez wore a CUSHNIE ET OCHS SPRING 2016 mint side button v-neck fitted dress with a razor back. She offset her dress with coordinating accessories which featured a VALENTINO clutch and LOUBOUTIN shimmery pumps. A pink lip and layered topped off her look.
