2026 BET Awards

On Sunday(June 28th) Druski hosted the highly anticipated 2026 BET Awards which was held at the Peacock Theater in LA. 

Teyana Taylor beautifully served up some drama wearing a STEPHANE ROLLAND SPRING 2026 COUTURE gown. I love the color on her and her beauty look was simple but flawless. However, the beaded rectangle detail on the neckline is the only thing bugging me. I like the idea of having jewelry there, I think it's just the shape of it. 

Jamie Foxx in a black GUCCI double-breasted logo blazer and button down shirt paired with black trousers. I feel like he needed a pop of color, maybe a pocket square or jewelry. 

Miles Caton rocked a CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN harness and shoes white was paired back to a white printed button shirt and 3.PARADIS trousers. The harness and the detail of the high waist is competing with each other, but I don't think this is a bad look.  

Jodie Turner-Smith wore a ROBERTO CAVALLI PRE-FALL 2026 printed cutout halter dress. I don't necessarily hate the arm warmers, although I am glad that she didn't wear what was featured in the look book. 

Queen Latifah was in an off-season KILIAN KERNER FALL 2026 black textured coat with a simple black dress underneath. This was dramatic and perfect for the Queen. 

Coco Jones showed some skin in a red BASIL SODA SPRING 2026 two-piece ensemble. I am not a fan of the cut-out detail on the skirt, but she still looked great for the occasion. 

Kehlani looked pretty in the C. DAM SPRING 2026 'Virginia' dress in a maroon hue. The silver bar on the neckline added balance to this solid hue which was needed. 

Chloe Bailey worked her frame in a VALDRIN SAHITI FALL 2025 black velvet and silver crystal embellished strapless gown with a flowing train in the back. The hair is different but it doesn't work with the tone of the dress.

Doechii dipped into the DSQUARED2 archives for this SPRING 2006 brown cutout knit halter dress. The back showed a little butt crack, but she looked gorgeous in this sexy number. 

Lizzo looked beautiful in custom CHRISTIAN COWAN sheer brown, crystal dress with a bodysuit underneath for coverage. I just wish this was in a different color. 

Flo Milli  wore a look by DO LONG and it was a little tight on the bust. However, it was perfect for the occasion. 

Skai Jackson also rocked a DO LONG look. The blazer added a masculine touch to her playful fringe skirt. I like this ensemble but that blazer is way too tight on her. 

Madisin Rian looked beautiful in a LE THAN HOA FALL 2025 playful feather gown. They maybe off-season and it feels like a bird dress, but the color combo looked fantastic on it. 

Jordan Chiles also wore a look by LE THAN HOA. In the carpet, she noted that she was going for a ''black swan'' look, which I totally get. However, I am not loving the design. 

Latto is a new mother and she definitely looked great since giving birth. However, I still wish this LILY PHELLERA sheer black dress was lined. 

Tyla looked great in CHRISTIAN SIRIANO FALL 2026, but on this occasion, I wish that the sandals were black.

Marsai Martin wore a SALIH BALTA FALL 2026 black off-the-shoulder leather dress which we saw first on Christina Aguilera. She did look pretty, but she looked so stiff.

Keke Palmer wore a GUCCI PRE-FALL 2026 black one-shoulder rhinestone dress with a slit detail. She looked great in this dress, but I would swap out the pumps for ankle strap sandals. 

Olandria Carthen utilized the split on her custom THEO PHILIO yellow cutout dress. The color was divine on her and the embellished brooch on the waist along with the other gold jewelry added a nice compliment to her sultry look. However, I almost wish the top didn't have that cutout, sheer illusion detail.

Jaafar Jackson wore a VALENTINO floral suit and he looked great. I kinda feel like he needed a small brooch or pin though. 

Muni Long looked gorgeous in a light blue strapless, sequin dress from the SERGIO HUDSON SPRING 2026 collection. 

Eva Marcille wore a chartreuse MUEHLEDER sweater mini dress with a tie waist. I like this but the eye makeup is too heavy. 

Nia Long in the KULSON 'Grace' chocolate brown slip dress. The accessories are doing the heavy lifting here. She looks great no doubt, but I don't think this is the most exciting look for the occasion.
