36th GLAAD Media Awards LA

On Thursday(March 27th) the 36th annual GLAAD Media Awards LA was held at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.

Cynthia Erivo was one of the honorees and she wore a CHRISTIAN DIOR SPRING 2025 black belted dress. This is a bit toned down from most of her red carpet looks. Although, it's not a bad look, it's not her best. I don't like the one strap detail and the bag feels too random.

The 19th annual L'Oréal Paris Women of Worth celebration took place at NeueHouse Hollywood on Thursday(November 21st) in LA.

Cara Delevingne kept it simple, but chic in a CELINE suit. I would have loved to see her wearing a colored heel, but I still liked her look.

Sophie Bush wore a look from the ADEAM SPRING 2024 collection and I am not a fan of the design or color on her.

'Wicked' LA Premiere

On Saturday(November 9th) the premiere of Universal Pictures ''Wicked'' was held at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion on in LA.

Ariana Grande wore a custom look by THOM BROWNE. She looks like she is going to prom at Rydell High School. It looks like she is wearing sheer stockings with her glitter pumps, and both weren't a good choice.

Cynthia Erivo could not be missed wearing a green latex cutout dress with a fringe coat by LOUIS VUITTON. Love the jewelry and the green is definitely an ode to the film, but I am not a fan of the dress design.

Janelle Monae suited up perfectly in a SERGIO HUDSON FALL 2024. We rarely see Janelle in color, but when she wears it, she wears it well. I love this vibrant red, wide-legs suit which has a retro vibe to it.

Yesterday evening(September 19th) the 73rd Emmy awards took place in LA and while some celebs showed off their looks on instagram,  they also made their way to the red carpet. Traji P. Henson sparkled beautifully in a ELIE SAAB RESORT 2022 sheer black sequin dress which was accessorized with ROBERTO COIN jewelry and SOPHIA WEBSTER sandals. The neckline looks too long and wide on Taraji but other than that, she looked beautiful.

Krysten Ritter who is a new mom, wore a GEORGES CHAKRA FALL 2018 COUTURE black beaded lace and tulle cocktail dress. The dress was sleeveless on the runway but two-tier flutter chiffon sleeves was added to Krysten's dress. A touch color came via her pink lips which topped off her look along with a black clutch and CHLOE GOSSELIN pumps.

'Fight Like A Mother' Book Launch

On Monday(June 10th) the 'Fight Like A Mother' book launch, which was written by Moms Demand founder and volunteer, Shannon Watts, took place in LA. A few celebs attended the event to support the activist at a private residence. You can purchase the book HERE.

Taylor Swift and Sophia Bush chose J. MENDEL SPRING 2019 gowns to wear to the 2019 Time 100 Gala yesterday evening(April 23rd) at the Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York. 

Taylor Swift who was an honoree, did not disappoint wearing a strapless peach & yellow hand pleated silk gown, featuring an floral embroidered bodice. I like the addition of the detachable, billowy bolero because it adds somewhat of a playful detail to the feminine gown. However the color story is not the best but she sells it. LORRAINE SCHWARTZ jewelry, CHOLE GOSSELIN sandals and a up-do which was adorned with a flower headband finished up her look.

Sophia Bush in Prabal Gurung at the 23rd Art Directors Guild Awards

On hand as a presenter, Sophia Bush attended the 23rd Annual Art Directors Guild Excellence In Production Design Awards at the InterContinental Downtown on Saturday(February 2nd in LA.

I want to like this PRABAL GURUNG RESORT 2019 strapless draped sequin gown on Sophia but I really can't. The draped panel is not the most flattering detail on her. 

However her beauty look was on point which topped off her look, along with IRENE NEUWIRTH earrings, a navy TYLER ELLIS clutch, and the navy GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI 'Dionne' sandals. What do you think of the draped panel on Sophia's gown?
