Emily Blunt in Roksanda at the 2022 Freeing Voices, Changing Lives Gala

Emily Blunt returned to the red carpet for the 2022 Freeing Voices, Changing Lives Gala which was held at Guastavino’s yesterday evening(July 11th) in New York City. 

For the occasion, she chose a dress from the ROKSANDA FALL 2022 collection which was modified from the runway version. I like Emily's version with the puffy sleeves but I have a few quibbles with the design. 

The fit of the bodice looks a bit off and I really dislike those ribbons on the sleeve cuffs. I don't mind the sash because this is a dress that needed to be defined at the waist. 

Also this dress would have looked better with some knee boots but it's summer so the sandals were an appropriate choice. Quibbles aside, she looked great. FOUNDRAE, SLVA & CIE and CAST jewelry put the finishing touches on her look.

Julia Roberts in Valentino & Oscar de la Renta at the NY Build Series & the 'Ben is Back' Premiere

To promote her new film 'Ben is Back', Julia Roberts stopped by the Build Series to discuss it and she attended the premiere in New York on yesterday(December 3rd).

For the Build Series, even though it was somewhat of a gloomy day but relatively nice, Julia brightened up the day in this multicolored zigzag stripe dress from the VALENTINO SPRING 2019 collection. While I wish this was belted at the waist for balance, I am loving Julia's style direction and this such a great piece. She offset her vibrant stripe dress with CHLOE GOSSELIN black leather ankle boots. RAYBAN glasses, SYLVA & CIE rings and side parted waves finished up her look.

For the premiere at the AMC Loews Lincoln Square theater, she slipped into a OSCAR DE LA RENTA RESORT 2019 black & silver dotted one-shoulder dress, which was nipped at the waist.  In the look book, Julia's dress was shown in a longer version but her shorter version, suits her just fine. While the black RUPERT SANDERSON pumps are a snooze, they work and it doesn't take away the impact of her sophisticated look. Keeping warm in a ivory wool coat, she finished up with a wavy up-do and EF COLLECTION & GRAZIELA GEMS rings.

Gearing up for the new season, Jenna Dewan hit the red carpet for the FYC Event for NBC's 'World of Dance' TV Series at the Saban Media Center yesterday evening(May 1st) in North Hollywood, CA.

Working an all black look, she wore a #CINQ A SEPT FALL 2018 sheer long sleeve stripe turtleneck top with a black bra underneath for coverage and a #TANYA TAYLOR FALL 2018 gatgered, leather midi skit.

On this occasion, a sleek, black pump would have been ideal over her ankle strap sandals. However her simple but sultry, edgy all black look works for the occasion. She finished up with a bold red lip and  SYLVA & CIE ring.

'Overboard' LA Premiere Wrap-up

Along with Cecilia Suarez, Anna Faris, Eva Longoria and Roselyn Sanchez also hit the red carpet for the premiere of 'Overboard' yesterday evening(April 30th) at the Regency Village Theatre in LA. 

Anna Faris sparkled her way on the carpet wearing a custom JEFFREY DONN strapless pink sequin, floor sweeping dress which was teamed with BRIAN ATWOOD platform sandals. Ditching her signature ponytail with bangs, she went with a side parted layered wavy cut which topped off her look along with SYLVA & CIE earrings. 

Eva Longoria wore a long sleeve sheer tulle black printed ALBERTA FERRETTI dress with nude underlining and a contrasting white stripe cuff. I can't say that I am loving this dress on Eva but this is not a bad look. A ponytail with tendrils, smokey eyes and black sandals finished up her look. 

Roselyn Sanchez wore a JONATHAN SIMKHAI black strapless calf length dress which featured a lace-up detail skirt. Adding a touch of sparkle to her look, she accessorized with NORMAN SILVERMAN diamond studs which topped off her look along with black GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI sandals and straight off-the-shoulder tresses.

Halsey in J. Mendel at the 9th Blossom Ball

On Monday(March 19th) Halsey was a honoree at the 9th Annual Blossom Ball to benefit the Endometriosis Foundation of America at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York.

The singer wore a J. MENDEL FALL 2018 white sheer beaded long sleeve, pleated tulle gown with a high neckline. In the look book, a nude bodysuit was shown underneath for coverage but Halsey opted for white. 

Beauty wise, she rocked a slick, pulled back hairstyle and dark lashes offset with a pink lip which topped off her look along with SYLVA CIE earrings, EVA FEHREN rings and JIMMY CHOO heels.

Jennifer Lawrence was one of the honorees last night(October 16h) at the 2017 Elle Women in Hollywood awards at the Four Seasons Hotel Beverly Hills in Beverly Hills, CA.

Turning to CHRISTIAN DIOR of course, she wore a SPRING 2018 black pleated silk-chiffon layered maxi dress with a lace panel bodice and waist. The dress is cute but it just doesn't excite.

Following Jenna Dewan-Tatum's appearance on Live with Kelly & Ryan and Jenny Slate at the HFPA banquet, both ladies were on hand for the Amazon Prime Video 'Comrade Detective' premiere yesterday evening(August 3rd) at the Arclight Theater in LA.

Channing Tatum stepped out in a BURBERRY navy two-piece suit which he styled with a white button down shirt, a silver & navy printed tie and navy dress shoes. 

Jenna Dewan-Tatum of course was on hand to support hubby Channing wearing a strapless MARCHESA RESORT 2018 fuchsia fitted calf length dress with a feathered neckline. My only quibble are the black pumps as they were a safe choice. A center part ponytail with tendrils and a matching lip finished up her look. 

Jenny Slate stepped out in a OSMAN jumpsuit which featured a long sleeve sheer floral embroidered top with split sleeves & nude underlining for coverage and black tapered leg pants. She could have easily wore simple black pumps but instead she opted for cute OLGANA PARIS blue satin pumps. SYLVA & CIE jewelry, a high ponytail and minimal make-up finished up her look.

Halle Berry in Yeon & Gosia Baczynska at the 16th Chrysalis Butterfly Ball

I think Halle Berry is so beautiful but when it comes down to her style, she continues to struggle. Yesterday(June 3rd) she attended the 16th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball at a Brentwood Private Residence in LA.

She hit the purple carpet in a grey metallic YEON coat and a GOSIA BACZYNSKA FALL 2016 long sleeve iridescent & sheer sequin midi dress with a sheer high neck. I like this dress minus the sleeves, however it is very unflattering on her.

Sequins can be hard to pull off sometimes because it can make you look pregnant like this dress is doing on Halle. Also I can't say that I really like that sheer neckline or hem on her. She finished up her look with an up-do with bangs, EVA FEHREN hoops and ILEANA MAKRI & SYLVA & CIE rings. Are you feeling HB's look?

Gwyneth Paltrow, Molly Sims & Jaime King at the 5th Kaleidoscope Ball

On Saturday(May 6th), Gwyneth Paltrow, Molly Sims & Jaime King hit the grey carpet at the 5th Annual Kaleidoscope Ball benefitting the UCLA Children's Discovery and Innovation Institute at the Mattel Children's Hospital in Culver City, CA.

Gwyneth Paltrow wore a white sleeveless sequin crop and matching center front split skirt by PRADA. Gwyneth rarely does anything interesting make-up wise which is why I was surprised to see her with a smokey eye. Her ensemble is cute but the overall look is just okay. Center part light waves and black sandals finished up her look. 

Molly Sims wore a TADASHI SHOJI PRE-FALL 2017 long sleeve ruffled floral floor length embroidered dress styled with a RUBEUS MILANO clutch and black sandals. SYLVA & CIE jewelry, SCHUTZ sandals, a center part ponytail and complimentary make-up finished up her great look. 

Jaime King wore a OSCAR DE LA RENTA see-through long sleeve black lace & floral embroidered layered tulle dress. Just like her previous look, I want to snatch those red earrings off because they are wearing her more than she is wearing it. It doesn't work with her look and it also competes with her bold red lip. Black lace pumps finished up her look.
