Before her hosting duties, Meghan Thee Stallion and more posed on the black carpet for the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards which was held at the UBS Arena on Wednesday(September 11th) in Elmont, New York. 

Megan Thee Stallion wore a custom NICOLE + FELICIA black strapless, corseted mermaid gown. For the VMA's, this was perfect but it was weird that she had trouble walking in it.

2022 MTV Europe Music Awards

The 2022 MTV Europe Music awards took place on yesterday(November 13th) at the PSD Bank Dome in Duesseldorf, Germany with Rita Ora and Taika Waititi on hand as hosts.

Taylor Swift went the sexy route, rocking a custom DAIVD KOMA FALL 2022 black & jewel embellished dress with DELFINA DELETTREZ rings and GIVENCHY heels. I feel like this is the most skin that I have seen Taylor shown on the carpet. She looks great but I don't think the hairstyle compliments the dress. 

Bebe Rexha wore an Avant-Garde piece by BAD BINCH TONGTONG. Loving this rich, velvet hue. Regardless if you like it or not, this unique piece worked for the occasion.

2022 MTV VMA's

Yesterday evening(August 28th) in Newark, New Jersey, the 2022 MTV VMAs took place at the Prudential Center with LL Cool J, Nicki Minaj and Jack Harlow on-hand as the hosts. 

Lizzo was on-hand as a performer and nominee. She made a dramatic entrance wearing a JEAN PAUL GAULTIER SPRING 2022 COUTURE navy off-the-shoulder, taffeta gown and she looked amazing. I just wish her jewelry had more of a sparkle to it but that doesn't negate how beautiful she looks. Also I like the addition of the sheer opera gloves.

Taylor Swift in Carmen March at 2020 Sundance Film Festival 'Miss Americana' Premiere

Taylor Swift's style is a hit or miss but I like the direction of her style here. She stepped out at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival for the premiere of her documentary 'Miss Americana' at the Eccles Center Theatre yesterday(January 23rd) in Park City, Utah.

Working a masculine inspired look, she wore a CARMEN MARCH FALL 2019 black & white plaid printed coat, crop top and belted wide-leg pants. As far as style direction, this is something a bit fresh for Taylor and I like it. 

However I think she could have pulled off the top as presented in the look book but I do like the one-piece illusion. Also I wish she didn't wear the matching pumps, I feel like a simple black pump would have been better to offset the print. 

The fit of the pants could have been better but this is still cute in my opinion. She finished up her look with silver earrings, side parted medium waves, and a red lip. Did Taylor sell you on her plaid ensemble?

'CATS' NY World Premiere

The world premiere of 'CATS' took place last night(December 16th), which was held at Lincoln Center in New York.

Taylor Swift wore a OSCAR DE LA RENTA RESORT 2020 strapless appliqué ruby floral fil coupé satin gown with side pockets which she utilized. This gown comes off as upholstery fabric and the reverse panel isn't helping. Also I want to take a scissors so that I can clip that leaf panel on the neckline of the bodice. However this is not a bad look but I can't say that it's the best for me. If you remember, Renee Zellweger wore a dress in this same fabric but in a different silhouette in September 2019.

2019 Billboard Women in Music Event

Last night(December 12th) the 2019 Billboard Women in Music event took place at the Hollywood Palladium in LA. 

Alicia Keys posed in a PRABAL GURUNG SPRING 2020 purple suit, with contrasting draped sleeves panels wrapped around her arms and a purple lace bra. The arm details look a bit silly, like she is wearing a coat or something that fell off her arms. Also the pants really needed to be hemmed but I kinda like this, especailly the color. CASADEI pumps and cornrows finished up her look.

Lil Nas X performed and walked a winner. I love how he takes fashion risks and he seemingly channeled Prince wearing this custom CHRISTIAN COWAN look which I dig.

Taylor Swift who also performed at the event, wore a VERSACE multi-colored, Swarovski beaded blazer, with an pink strapless beaded romper underneath and black velvet thigh-high Swarovski beaded boots. I actually like this and prefer it over her last Versace look.

Ahead of the release of her new album, Taylor Swift stopped by Good Morning America this morning(August 22nd) to perform and to discuss the album.

For her performance, she hit the stage wearing a pink HELMUT LANG FALL 2019 sheer organza, button down shirt, with an black WOLFORD bodysuit underneath and JESSICA JONES multi-colored sequin shorts. 

Her ensemble with styled with nude stockings and black RENE CAOVILLA ankle boots, which topped off her performance look along with LE VIAN jewelry, a fuchsia lip and light wavy tresses with bangs.

Taylor Swift in Versace at the 2019 Teen Choice Awards

Before she received the 'Icon Award', Taylor Swift struck a pose on the blue carpet yesterday evening(August 11th) at the 2019 Teen Choice Awards at the Hermosa Beach Pier Plaza in Hermosa Beach, CA.

Taylor has been wearing a lot of shorts or rompers on the carpet, so I am not surprised that she wet the leggy route again. On this occasion, she rocked the VERSACE PRE-FALL 2019 'Voyage Barocco' printed silk blazer, bodysuit and shorts with pockets which she utilized. 

For coverage, she wore a colored bra underneath the bodysuit which peaked through the v-neckline. Pulling off a full on printed look like this can be hard and while I do like all three pieces, I wish she left the bodysuit out. I would have loved to see this with the jacket close and maybe belted at the waist. 

Also I think she should have gone with a simple ankle strap sandal over her KAT MACONIE lace-up style and the hair sleeker. MISHAHARA earrings. Did Taylor sell you on the styling of her look?
