AFI 46th Life Achievement Award Gala Tribute To George Clooney Wrap-up

Courtney Cox, Cate Blanchett and more attended the AFI 46th Life Achievement Award Gala Tribute To George Clooney at The Dolby Theatre yesterday evening(June 7th) in Hollywood, CA.

Laura Dern wore a ESTEBAN CORTAZAR SPRING 2015 black angular & tulle panel hem dress which was accessorized with a light blue TYLER ELLIS clutch and light blue CALVIN KLEIN pumps. Minimal make-up and side parted curls finished up her look.

Anna Kendrick wore a RALPH & RUSSO SPRING 2018 white one long sleeve cutout dress which was teamed with BELADORA jewelry, a TYLER ELLIS clutch and GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI mule sandals. To ensure that nothing takes away from her flirty, cut out dress, Anna's hair was worn in a center part ponytail which topped off her look.

Julianna Marguiles who also attended the CFDA's this week, wore a VIONNET FALL 2014 COUTURE navy strapless ruffle & pleated column dress. Julianna looked elegantly beautiful and her look was accessorized with silver jewelry & a navy clutch which topped off her look along with a complimentary beauty look.

Jaime King in Vionnet at the 'Ready Player One' LA Premiere

Jaime King hit the purple carpet for the premiere of 'Ready Player One' at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, CA yesterday evening(March 26th).

Jaime stepped out in a light blue VIONNET SPRING 2018 silk-chiffon pleated dress with a asymmetrical neckline and a red panel across the neckline. I thought Jaime looked lovely in this delicate sheer dress. 

However my only issue is the red panel. It looks like a piece of tape holding the fabric together, very odd looking. Nonetheless, she does look lovely. DEAN DAVIDSON and GABRIELA & CO jewelry,  red mule sandals and off-the-shoulder with bangs finished up her look.

Gugu Mbatha-Raw in Vionnet at the 'A Wrinkle In Time' LA Premiere

Gugu Mbatha-Raw has made an impact on the red carpet but she tends to do it in a subtle way. The actress attended the premiere of 'A Wrinkle In Time' at the El Capitan Theatre yesterday(February 26th) in LA.

For the occasion, she wore a VIONNET SPRING 2018 white one-shoulder gown with contrasting green, grey, light blue, yellow and red pleated panels. The colorful panels is what keeps her dress & overall look from being boring. 

Guru's exact dress wasn't featured on the runway but it was shown in a smilier version. However version is a standout. Instead of wearing a slick hairstyle, she opted for a curly bun which topped off her look along with minimal make-up, BELADORA jewelry and CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN heels.

Following an appearance at a Globes event, Jessica Chastain made her way to the blue for the 23rd Annual Critics' Choice Awards at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, CA this evening(January 11th).

The actress wore a VIONNET SPRING 2018 green silk-chiffon pleated halter dress with a cutout bodice. On the runway, Jessica's dress was unlined but she opted for matching lining which worked in her favor. 

However I can't say that I am loving the shape of this dress on her. She doesn't look bad but it's not my favorite look. Center part waves and pink lips finished up her look. Are you sold on this silhouette on Jessica?

Rachel Bresnahan hit the red carpet in black of course for the 75th Golden Globe Awards this evening(January 7th) at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, CA.

The 'House of Cards' actress wore a VIONNET SPRING 2018 black one-shoulder silk-chiffon floor length dress with a crossover, flower accented shoulder detail and a pleated skirt. 

I think think is a lovely gown on Rachel but I think she could have enhanced her overall look with a statement belt or jewelry. She finished up with a complimentary beauty look. What do you think of Rachel's look?

Last night(October 23rd) the 2017 InStyle Awards took place at The Getty Center in LA. To see all of the celeb looks, click HERE and continue below for the wrap-up.

Ellen Pompeo stood out in a long sleeve magenta CO RESORT 2018 Japanese crepe midi dress with a ruffle, tie high neck, ruffle cuffs and a pleated skirt. Love the color & style of this dress. A complimentary up-do, a burgundy clutch and ankle strap sandals finished up her look. 

Bella Heathcote looked great in a violet floral ROSIE ASSOULIN RESORT 2018 bustier gown with tie straps, a sweetheart neckline and a gathered asymmetrical skirt. Her look was accessorized with BORGIONI earrings, a HUEB ring, the ATELIER SWAROVSKI 'Marina' clutch and SOPHIA WEBSTER sandals. 

Demi Lovato worked her frame in a ALICE + OLIVIA SPRING 2018 lavender floor length dress with a draped neckline, a belted waist, a ruched side panel and thigh-high split. I like the dress but it looks a tad tight on Demi. However it's not a bad look but I would swap out those GIANVITO ROSSI pumps for sandals.

Ruby Rose in Vionnet at the Resident Evil: The Final Chapter LA Premiere

Ruby Rose has been hitting the circuit a lot to promote her two new films. Yesterday evening(January 23rd) she attended the Resident Evil: The Final Chapter premiere at Regal L.A. LIVE in LA. 

She hit the red carpet in a VIONNET FALL 2016 black evening jersey plissè dress and Picasso rust with a rust duchesse harness. Ruby added a black satin sash around the waist for balance. 

However I can't say that I like this dress on Ruby and it really doesn't suit her edgy style. She finished up with a short layered cut and smokey eyes offset with a bare lip. Do you think the brand's signature Grecian style dress works on Ruby?

American Ballet Theater 2016 Fall Gala Wrap-up

Along with Julianna Margulies, Elizabeth Olsen, Misty Copeland & Brooke Shields hit the red carpet at the American Ballet Theater 2016 Fall Gala yesterday evening(October 20th) at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center in New York. 

Elizabeth Olsen wore a VIONNET FALL 2016 gunmetal lurex plissé knit halter-neck dress styled with an M2MALLETIER clutch and the RUPERT SANDERSON 'Calice' black velvet pumps. I am thankfully that the pumps aren't visible because they are a boring, safe choice. Straight off-the-shoulder tresses and a espresso smokey eye finished up her look. 

Misty Copeland wore the white ROLAND MOURET 'Marilla' stretch crepe cap sleeve gown with an asymmetrical neckline and a feminine fishtail hem. A simple but beautiful look for the ballet dancer. A sleek bun, smokey eyes offset with a pink lips and small pearl earrings topped off her look. 

Brooke Shields turned to Pakistan designer HSY wearing a long sleeve navy stone encrusted gown from the 'Divine Decadence' collection. Her gown featured a velvet waist panel for a defined waist. Layered tresses and a small box clutch finished up her look.

Janelle Monae always sticks with her black & white looks but every now & then, she throws a pop of color in there. Yesterday evening(October 2nd) she attended the 'Moonlight' premiere during the 54th New York Film Festival in NYC. 

She hit the red carpet in a VIONNET FALL 2016 black & white stripe off-the-shoulder top with an contrasting red velvet panel and the matching bootcut trousers. 

Even though the pants could have been hemmed just a bit, I like this look on Janelle. Also the pops of red from the top, hat, clutch & lips kept the look interesting.
