Regina Hall has already started doing promotions for her new film 'When the Bough Breaks' which hits theaters in September 2016. This evening she attended the 2016 BET Awards at the Microsoft Theater in LA.

She hit the white carpet in a ELISABETTA FRANCHI SPRING 2016 black v-neck floor length evening dress with leather panel, cut-out sides and sheer panel sides. 

Regina definitely served up a little cleavage in this sultry dress, however it doesn't excite. Nonetheless she is beautiful. Center part loose waves, smokey eyes, silver jewelry and a box clutch topped off her look. What do you think of Regina's look?

Chloe & Halle Bailey in Zaldy & Gucci at the 2016 BET Awards

Chloe & Halle Bailey the sisters signed to Beyonce's Parkwood Entertainment label, posed on the carpet before on after their performance at the 2016 BET Awards at the Microsoft Theatre this evening in LA.  

Before the show, they hit the carpet wearing ZALDY SPRING 2015 and MESSIKA jewelry. 

Chloe Bailey wore a silk lame, chiffon & Georgette metallic stripe mini dress with bell sleeves which she layered with distressed denim. I can't say that I am crazy about the pairing but the look definitely suits & works on Chloe. Patchwork denim peep-toe booties and her signature locks finished up her look. 

Halle Bailey wore a printed & striped layered silk Georgette asymmetrical hem dress with a guipure mesh yoke. I think a simple strappy sandal would have been ideal with this dress but she still looked great overall. 

When they hit the stage, I knew that they were wearing GUCCI SPRING 2016. 

Chloe Bailey wore a heer pink silk-chiffon long sleeve ruffle blouse with a burgundy contrasting tie neck styled with red flare leg trousers. You may remember that Chloe Moretz wore the top last month(May 2016). Even with her locks swept to the side & adorned with a flower, I still this this look works. DOLPHIN DELATTEZ jewelry completed her look. 

Halle Bailey wore a pink chiffon long sleeve ruffled v-neck floor length dress. I thought the dress worked well for Halle as a performance piece but the loose shape isn't the most flattering. RICKS BEAMON jewelry completed her look.

Beyonce in Julien MacDonald Performing at the 2016 BET Awards

Fresh off of her vacation, Beyonce skipped the red carpet but opened the 2016 BET Awards with an amazing performance of my favorite song 'Freedom' with Kendrick Lamar. The awards was held at the Microsoft Theater in LA. 

For her performance, she wore a custom JULIEN MACDONALD black & sheer panel Swarovski bejeweled bodysuit with long fringe sleeves. Bey danced around in water in a scene that can be seen on her 'Formation' tour. 

She layered her bodysuit with black footless fishnet stockings. Beauty wise, she rocked center part braids with crimped ends and a vampy lip. I know we have seen Bey in millions of bodysuits but they always work for her performance. If you missed the performance, you can check some of it out via her instagram.

On hand a presenter, 'Blackish' actress Yara Shahidi hit the white carpet this evening at the 2016 BET Awards at the Microsoft Theater in LA.

For the occasion, she wore a multicolored sequin stripe TRACY REESE PRE-FALL 2015 calf length dress with a short v-neckline. If this looks familiar, that's because we saw it Malin Akerman back in March 2016.

On the beauty end, she went with her signature side swept curls and a pink colored smokey eye offset with a natural lip. Yara usually serves up fun looks when she hits the carpet but as someone pointed out, this looks a bit mature for the young actress. Are you sold on Yara's look on this occasion? Tia Mowry braved the very bright sun for her appearance this evening on the white carpet at the 2016 BET Awards at the Microsoft Theater in LA.

For her attendance, she wore a long sleeve ROBERTO CAVALLI SPRING 2016 nude, white and black printed embellished turtleneck mini dress. Tia's dress hit the runway with what looks like a leather bow shoulder detail thankfully she left out. 

Even though her STUART WEITZMAN 'Nudist' sandals doesn't look bad with this mini, I feel like a simple, sexier strappy sandal would have enhanced her look. Tia's dress worked for the occasion but did she sell the look to you?

Style wise when it comes to staying in their comfort zone, Janelle Monae does it best because she keeps it interesting. She hit the white come this evening at the 2016 BET Awards at the Microsoft Theater in LA.

On hand for the Prince tribute, she rocked a black & white SASS & BIDE FALL 2016 sequin stripe two-piece suit which featured a split sleeve, v-neck blazer and wide leg trousers. Janelle appears to have had the blazer altered, removing the button. 

Janelle accessorized with JENNIFER FISHER jewelry, a matching box clutch and a felt hat. However I kinda wish she left that choker out and also hem the pants just a tad but she still served up one of the best looks. Love her flawless beauty look which topped off her look. Aja Naomi King of 'How to Get Away with Murder' wore a BROGNANO FALL 2016 sheer aqua ruffled chiffon dress with a center front split. Aja's dress was featured in the look book with an contrasting red belt which I wish she kept because it added a chic balance to her look. However my main issue here is that I don't like those black briefs that are showing underneath.

Meagan Good showed some skin in a green LORENA SARBU FALL 2015 silk crepe gown with cut-outs and a side front split. I actually liked Meagan's look. It didn't scream wow but she looked great. Side swept braids, a red lip and gold accessories finished up her look.

Karrueche Tran wore a black FAUSTO PUGLISI gold button front dress styled with gold jewelry and gold LOUBOUTIN sandals. The dress looks a bit tight but she looks cute.

Alicia Keys started a make-up free campaign to promote her new album. On hand as a performer for the 2016 BET Awards, Alicia Keys posed on the white carpet at the event this evening at the Microsoft Theater in LA. 

For the occasion, she wore the STELLA MCCARNTEY RESORT 2016 'Morgan' black satin jumpsuit with a billowy fit, a plunging neckline, a deep v-neckline and a gold embellished waist. 

I know this jumpsuit is suppose to have a loose fit but I can't help but wish the pants were a bit more tailored. I think it would have been a bit more flattering. With her hair in a turban inspired pashmina wrap, she finished up her look with statement earrings and silver sandals. Are you feeling Alicia's look?

Congrats to Taraji P. Henson who just snagged her first Golden Globe this evening for her role on the hit show 'Empire'. Taraji attended the Globes and the BET Celebration of Gospel wearing STELLA MCCARTNEY on both occasions. 

Yesterday evening she attended the 2016 BET Celebration of Gospel at Orpheum Theatre in LA. She wore a black lace panel gown with a train detail. I have similar looks like this from the designer before on the carpet so it doesn't make it a stand out for me. Beauty wise, she went with a quiff up-do and glossy lips. 

For the 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards this evening at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, she wore a white strapless column dress with a dramatic cape detail in the back. A gold mirrored chain small tote and a side parted bob finished up her look. 

While she is working both looks here, I can't help but feel a bit underwhelmed. I was really hoping for something standout from her. Which of Taraji's Stella McCartney looks do you favor.

Yara Shahid attended the BET Awards on June 26, 2016 at the Microsoft Theater in LA. She hit the white carpet in a multicolored stripe TRACY REESE PRE-FALL 2016 sequin slip dress which she styled with gold chunky sandals. Her signature curls finished up her look. 

However Malin Akerman wore it first on March 4, 2016 at her Ocean Drive Magazine cover release party in Miami. Malin highlighted the colored stripes in her dress with purple suede BRIAN ATWOOD pumps(which aren't really visible in this photo). A colored lip and straight behind-the-ear locks finished up her look.
