2019 National Board of Review Gala Wrap-up

Awkwafina, Constance Wu and more attended the 2019 National Board of Review gala at Cipriani 42nd street in New York yesterday evening(January 8th).

Regina King who was previously at the Critics Circle awards, she looked divine wearing this ZAC POSEN white ruffle printed gown. Her look was topped off with a complimentary beauty look and EFFY jewelry finished up her look.

Sophia Bush also wore a ZAC POSEN gown. Her red, draped neck silk gown was accessorized with emerald stone jewelry, a small clutch and NICHOLAS KIRKWOOD sandals.

Following her attendance at the Globes, Constance Wu attended the 2019 National Board of Review gala at Cipriani 42nd street in New York.

Constance fashion game has been strong and she delivered another great look courtesy of GALVAN. Her FALL 2018 red sequin dress was teamed with WOLFORD tights and JIMMY CHOO sandals.

Beauty wise, she complimented her look with straight off-the-shoulder tresses and a matching lip which topped off her look along with an AMANDA PEARL clutch.

Awkwafina in Elie Saab at the 2019 National Board of Review Gala

Before she walked away a winner, Awkwafina posed on the gray carpet yesterday evening(January 8th) at the 2019 National Board of Review gala at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York.

I like the ELIE SAAB FALL 2018 black semi-sheer dress that she chose. However I don't think it works on her and I am missing the belt that the dress was shown with on the runway.

I feels more suited for someone on the taller side. A black embellished clutch and ALDO sandals rounded out her look. Do you think Awkwafina pulled this dress off?

2020 National Board Of Review Awards Gala

Following their attendance at the Critics Circle awards and a movie premiere, Lupita Nyong'o, Salma Hayek, Billy Porter and more attended the 2020 National Board Of Review Awards Gala at Cipriani last night(January 8th) in New York.

Salma Hayek wore a JONATHAN SIMKHAI draped, silver lame dress which she accessorized with a ring handle bag and silver metallic, platform sandals. I think the dress is cute in general but it doesn't suit her and the accessories doesn't work at all.

Billy Porter went the 70's route, rocking a GUCCI logo blazer which he teamed with a printed shirt underneath and white trousers. The burgundy boots helped to tie his whole look together.

Lupita Nyong'o ditched wearing color for a black sequin CELINE cutout, crisscross halter dress which she accessorized with diamond jewelry. This may not be a wow moment but she does look pretty and her beauty look is flawless.

Brie Larson, Lucy Boynton & Elsie Fisher at the 2nd Los Angeles Online Film Critics Society Award

Yesterday evening(January 9th) Brie Larson and Lucy Boynton attended the 2nd annual Los Angeles Online Film Critics Society Award at the Taglyan Complex in LA.

Brie Larson easily captured my attention wearing this CHRISTOPHER KANE SPRING 2019 dress, which featured a rhinestone-embellished v-neck bodice and split sleeves, and a red contrasting lace skirt. Love the sparkle & vibrant hue combo, which she nails. Her look was accessorized with COLETTE jewelry and metallic LOUBOUTIN sandals.

Lucy Boynton who also attended the Globes, stepped out in a PRADA floor length beaded fringe dress. On the beauty end, she kept things simple with minimal makeup and a partial pinned up-do.

Elsie Fisher who just attended the National Board of Review Gala, stayed true to her signature style, wearing a masculine inspired look. Her KITSUNE SPRING 2019 bomber jacket and crop trousers, which she teamed with what seems to be her favorite FRYE boots.
