2016 American Music Awards Wrap-up

Arianna Grande wore a I.D. SARRIERI black lace crop top and ALEXANDER MCQUEEN white trousers. This is cute but I feel when it comes to style, Ariana hasn't hit the mark yet. A sparkly choker, RUTHIE DAVIS platform sandals, a sleek ponytail and a colored lip finished up her look. 

Teyana Taylor served up some serious cleavage wearing a STEVEN KHALIL black off-the-shoulder sheer lace gown. The top is very similar to her recent Soul Train awards dress. She has a great body no doubt but I am not feeling her style. 

Keke Palmer went for a 90's look courtesy of NATALIA FEDNER. Her 100% silver metal crop top & matching skirt was fully lined in copper metal and was teamed with a pink fur coat. I kinda see this look more for the VMA's.

Taraji P. Henson was on hand as a presenter on Sunday(November 20th) at the 2016 American Music Awards at the Microsoft Theater in LA. 

She posed on the red carpet wearing a CELINE FALL 2016 long sleeve white over-sized shirt. Adding sultry touch to her look, Taraji wore a black lace under her un-button shirt. On the runway, Taraji's shirt was shown on the runway with wide leg pants but she give the masculine inspired shirt a sultry modern, spin. 

On the beauty end, she went with a sleek, center part ponytail and a matte magenta lip. A HEARTS ON FIRE necklace, MELINDA MARIA & ALEZAN BY SK rings and JIMMY CHOO sandals finished up her look. Are you sold on Taraji's look?

She hit the red carpet in REEM ACRA SPRING 2017 deep v-neck floral mini dress with bracelet length sleeves and a contrasting black empire tie detail. Olivia's exact dress didn't hit the runway but a similar version did which I prefer but not on her.

I am a huge fan of Reem Acra but this dress looks cute on the runway and poorly fitted on Olivia. This is a no for me. STUART WEITZMAN 'Nudist' sandals and a ponytail with bangs finished up her look. What do you think of Olivia's look?

The overall fit of the jumpsuit looks sleeker & better on the model but I think the idea of the catsuit worked for Halsey and the event. An EDIE PARKER clutch and espresso smokey eyes finished up her look.

Jumping on the sheer bandwagon, she wore a black strapless sheer trumpet gown with multi-color embellishments from the THAI NGUYEN SPRING 2017 collection.  Idina changed the bodysuit for her dress which I think worked better for her.

The dress seems a little long but she looks great in it. Her face looks a little stiff but I do like her smokey eyes & colored lip and side swept waves which topped off her look along with a JUDITH LEIBER clutch. What do you think of Idina's look?

Showing off her growing baby bump, Ciara hit the red carpet at the 2016 American Music Awards this evening(November 20th) at the Microsoft Theater in LA.

When I first saw Ciara on the carpet, I knew that she was wearing STEPHANE ROLLAND because I liked this collection. Her FALL 2016 COUTURE long sleeve black & white turtleneck dress featured a voluminous high low hem skirt detail. 

I like this dress for Ciara but I can't say that I am wowed by her overall look. I actually don't mind the minimal make-up but a side swept sleek up-do would have been ideal. Also I wish she went with a simple strappy heel over the GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI black ankle strap platofrm pumps. Overall I don't hate but I don't love it either. Are you on board with Ciara's look?
