73rd EE British Academy Film Awards Wrap-up

Following the pre-party, Saoirse Ronan and more attended the 73rd EE British Academy Film Awards this evening(February 2nd) at the Royal Albert Hall in London. To see all of the red carpet looks, click HERE and continue below for the wrap-up.

Zoe Kravitz has a knack for making the simplest piece come alive. She looked beautiful in this SAINT LAURENT gold long sleeve sequin dress. Thankful instead of wearing gold jewelry, she chose red earrings which provided a pop of color to her look along with a red lip.

Jodie Turner-Smith can do no wrong. The pregnant actress was breathtakingly beautiful in a GUCCI sequin gown that tied around her neck. The yellow hue was perfect against her skin and her beauty look was flawless.

Alice Eve & Hannah John-Kamen in Ralph & Russo at the 73rd EE British Academy Film Awards

Alice Eve and Hannah John-Kamen made their way back to the red carpet this evening(February 2nd) in London for the 73rd EE British Academy Film Awards at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

Alice Eve stepped out in a FALL 2017 COUTURE mint platinum Chantilly lace gown featuring layers of silk fringe, pearlescent beads and petite flower sequins. This definitely looks better in motion but to compliment the neckline, she should have worn her hair in a side parted, pinned up-do.

Naomi Ackie, Vanessa Kirby & Laura Dern in Valentino at the 73rd EE British Academy Film Awards

Naomi Ackie, Vanessa Kirby and Laura Dern attended the 73rd EE British Academy Film Awards at the Royal Albert Hall this evening(February 2nd) in London wearing VALENTINO.

Naomi Ackie chose the perfect hue to stand out in and to compliment her skin tone. Her SPRING 2020 chartreuse green one-shoulder maxi dress featured side pockets which she utilized. Beauty wise, she kept things simple with smokey eyes and a side swept, long ponytail which topped off her look along with gold sandals. I wish she kept the bracelet from the runway but she still looked great.

Lily-Rose Depp & Margot Robbie in Chanel at the 73rd EE British Academy Film Awards

Following her attendance at the Pre-BAFTA party, Lily-Rose Depp along with Margot Robbie stepped out this evening(February 2nd) in London wearing CHANEL for the 73rd EE British Academy Film Awards at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

Lily-Rose Depp is a dedicated brand ambassador for the fashion house, so it's already known what she's wearing on the carpet. She chose a black lace catsuit which was layered with a sheer black silk-chiffon dress and embellished cuffs from the PRE-FALL 2020 collection. For me, I am not feeling this for the occasion but she seemed to be having fun with the piece on the carpet.

Rooney Mara in Givenchy Couture at the 73rd EE British Academy Film Awards

On hand to support partner Joaquin Phoenix, Rooney Mara attended the 73rd EE British Academy Film Awards at the Royal Albert Hall in London this evening(February 2nd).

When it comes to colors that she wears on the red carpet, Rooney tends to stick to the basics like black or white, maybe neutral. On this occasion, black was her color of choice courtesy of GIVENCHY.

Her SPRING 2020 COUTURE organza frayed gown featured a bow inspired cape and side pockets. I actually think this works on Rooney and it's right up her style alley.

To compliment her detailed gown, her hair was pulled up, and wrapped in a bow. A colored lip finished up her look. Does Rooney's look work for you?

Florence Pugh in Dries Van Noten at the 73rd EE British Academy Film Awards

Following the Pre-BAFTA party, Florence Pugh attended the 73rd EE British Academy Film Awards at the Royal Albert Hall this evening(February 2nd) in London.

The actress chose a bold fuchsia DRIES VAN NOTEN SPRING 2020 tier cape dress which was layered with a black mini skirt and tied down the front. I like this for the color and for the drama of the flowing cape dress.

However I feel like this is more suited for a movie premiere than this occasion. Also I don't like the lip color here, it's to harsh against this vibrant fuchsia hue. A diamond necklace and JIMMY CHOO sandals finished up her look. Did Florence sell you on this look?

Emilia Clarke in Schiaparelli Couture at the 73rd EE British Academy Film Awards

Following her attendance at the Pre-BAFTA party, Emilia Clarke was on the red carpet this evening(February 2nd) for the 73rd EE British Academy Film Awards at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

Emilia kept things simple in a black silk crepe dress with bones tonal embroideries from the SCHIAPARELLI SPRING 2020 COUTURE collection. The dress is an tribute to the 1938 'skeleton' dress designed by Elsa Schiaparelli herself. On the runway, the dress was layered with a sheer black organza,  tank top with the same tonal embroideries.

However it was left out of Emilia's look but honestly it wouldn't have done any justice if she had wore it. I just don't think she could have pulled it off. The dress is simply cute but her overall look is not memorable. What do you think of Emilia's look?

Ella Balinska in Giambattista Valli Couture at the 73rd EE British Academy Film Awards

Following the Pre-BAFTA party, Ella Balinska made her way to the red carpet this evening(February 2nd) in London for the 73rd EE British Academy Film Awards at the Royal Albert Hall.

Her GIAMBATTISTA VALLI FALL 2019 COUTURE pink floral ruffle mini dress featured a flowing train panel in the back. Looking through her images, the dress definitely has more impact in motion.

She looks pretty but I am confused as to why CASADEI pumps in black was worn here instead of a silver metallic, white or even pink ankle strap sandal or pumps. Her look was completed with a high ponytail and pink smokey eyes. What do you think of Ella's look?
