Vogue along with the Council of Fashion Designers of America, the City of NY and NYC & Company is starting a global celebration for one night only where all retail stores will stay open until 11pm tomorrow. The event is to help restore consumers confidence and to celebrate this thing we all love "Fashion". Chanel who will be doing custom bags for customers on 5th Avenue, Justin Timberlake will hit up Saks Fifth Ave., Mary J Blige is having an event at Gucci on 5th Avenue, Rachel Roy will make an appearance at Macy's on 34th street, BCBG on 40th street will be having a shopping event and Vogue's Editor-in-Chief, Anna Wintour will be signing fashions night out T-shirts at Macy's in Queens Center Mall.
Those are just some of the events that will be taking place throughout the city. Designers will be making appearances at their stores along with celebrities. From New York to Japan, India, Italy, Greece, the United Kingdom, Russia, Brazil, France, Spain, China, Germany and Taiwan, all will be participating in this global event. Some retailers will be offering discounts, makeovers, food, cocktails, music and GWP's(gift with purchase). Even if you don't have bank, it will be a good night to get out and enjoy the festivities!
