Ruffian spring / summer 2011 collection was beautiful. Military inspired looks were polished and clean along with a cinched waist. The jackets were cinched with blue satin belts and paired with high-waisted wide leg canvas pants. I am really glad that wide-leg pants are making a come back however I do like skinny leg jeans. Satin camp shirts were shown with A-line skirts but my favorite piece was this Leopard print silk Mousseline Indochine dress( shown above). The sexy split and the draped twist detailing in the front and back is stunning. I could definitely see this appearing on the red carpet soon. Olive, royal blue, white and gold were the color palettes used in the collection. The silk jacquard, satin and sequins added a sexy element to the collection that made it pop. Overall they took the masculine pieces and made it feminine, so classic. To see the entire collection go to style.com.
