I trucked it acorss town to check out the BEHNAZ SARAFPOUR FALL/WINTER 2012 presentation and it was worth the travel. Behnaz inspiration for this season was "fashion x-ray", basically seeing the clothes inside out. Models stood on a platform wearing ballet flats in a very relaxed and serene environment. The hair was pulled back in a bun which was complimented with deep red lips. The collection had a bit of a dance feel to it with pretty and wearable pieces. Loved the accordian pleated skirts and dresses in metallic gold and liquid bronze along with a very stylish red sweater with cut-out sleeves that sits off the shoulder. Coats were a little boxy but still fitting for the Behnaz girl. Intricate laceing on some of the pieces were the breakout looks, which were made with metallic thread. Overall, the collection was simple and classic but charming for the modern fashionista.
