2016 Elle Style Awards Wrap-up

Yesterday evening the 2016 ELLE Style awards took place at Tate Britain in London. To see all of the looks, click HERE and continue below for the wrap-up.

Ellie Goulding wore a black STELLA MCCARTNEY lace panel bustier dress with a short train detail. I am not to crazy about the design of the top and I wish she did something more interesting with her hair & make-up.

Karlie Kloss was honored with the Inspiring Woman of The Year award and she also wore STELLA MCCARTNEY. Her long sleeve black belted dress with a train detail, also featured a plunging neckline which was layered with a blush colored bustier underneath. I like the sleekness of her look which was topped off with a red lip, straight off-the-shoulder tresses and a gold clutch finished up her look.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley wore a ROBERTO CAVALLI SPRING 2016 black one long sleeve mini dress with a detailed draped panel on the side. Center part waves, a rosy lip and black sandals completed her look.

Elizabeth Olsen to my surprise got the Actress of The Year wearing a CALVIN KLEIN COLLECTION SPRING 2016 ivory ensemble which featured a sleeveless long vest, a v-neck crop came and wide leg silk trousers. I don't like the look of the pants at the hem but I like the ensemble in general.

Liv Tyler got the TV Actress of The Year and she showed up with her baby bump wearing STELLA MCCARTNEY as well. Out of her, Karlie & Ellie, she had my favorite look from the designer. The sleek design of her off-the-shoulder dress was given a vibrant cobalt blue color which I love.

Laura Whitmore wore a SANDRA MANSOUR SPRING 2016 white mesh star embroidered maxi halter dress with a off-the-shoulder ruffle panel. I wish she wore her hair off-the-shoulder but I do adore this dress.

Charli XCX wore a VIVIENNE WESTWOOD seafoam green satin long puffy sleeve dress with a draped neckline a high side split. The fabric is horrible here and her looks always comes off as she is trying to hard when she doesn't need to. Also I wish she didn't go for those KURT GEIGER black heels and I won't address the braids or the make-up.

Bella Hadid picked a look hot of the runway. She wore a JULIEN MACDONALD FALL 2016 black beaded fringe bodysuit styled with knee high boots. What do you think, trying too hard or does it work for you?

Lana Del Rey wore a pink short sleeve SHAREEN belted dress. The hair should have definitely been off-the-shoulder to compliment the dress. However while I don't hate it, I don't love it either.

  1. That thing on Bella looks more like a costume for a remake of Xena. Plain HORRID. The green lime one doesn't even deserve a comment.
    All the rest looked nice.
