When Lady Gaga hit's the carpet, we can almost always expect the unexpected but sometimes she tends to switch things up on us. Before her performance this evening, she posed for pictures on the red carpet at the 2016 Academy Awards at the Hollywood & Highland Center in LA.
Wearing a look from her long time stylist turned designer, she wore a custom BRANDON MAXWELL FALL 2016 strapless dress with a pleat detailed cape and wide leg trousers. I love the custom combo look here which she wears well.
For her beauty look, she went with side parted retro inspired waves and a pink smokey eye and lip. LORRAINE SCHWARTZ jewelry topped off her beautiful look. What do you think of Gaga's custom white look?

It makes a beautiful silhouette and I love the combo pants+dress. That said, I have the impression that the skirt was a bit too heavy in motion( perhaps a more fluid fabric, with less "body"would have been better. She looks good nevertheless, like a 21th century Marilyn Monroe.

ReplyDeleteIt's a great look for her, crisp, structured, modern and dramatic, her hair works nicely on this occasion. This is probably her best look ever and well-done for the Oscars.
