On Sunday(October 25th) Karen Pittman and Ava DuVernay hit the red carpet for the 2026 AFI Fest closing night and screening of ''14th'' which was held at the TCL Chinese Theatre in LA.
Showing just a little midriff, Karen Pittman wore a MUGLER SPRING 2026 monochromatic peach/nude two-piece set featuring a tailored crop top and a high-waisted midi skirt. In theory, I like this ensemble, but I feel like she needed a pop of color somewhere to offer up some balance.
Known for her impeccable, sophisticated style, Ava DuVernay served us with a striking black pleated skirt suit from the ERDEM PRE-FALL 2026 collection. She looked radiant in a look that spoke to the brand's signature dark romanticism and dramatic artistry. A ROLEX watch and black suede wedges completed her look.
