Christina Hendricks embraces her curves which is one of the reasons I like her. Yesterday evening she attended The Neon Demon premiere at ArcLight Hollywood in Hollywood, CA.
She posed on the purple carpet wearing a JENNY PACKHAM SPRING 2016 blue midi dress with a sequin leaf pattern and a slight off-the-shoulder detail. Christina's dress was altered from the runway version which featured a contrasting solid blue waistband for a cinched waist.
I actually wish she kept it as it would have given her a more defined silhouette. Also while I like the metallic pumps, I think a simple strappy sandal would have been ideal. The ANYA HINDMARCH 'Boom' clutch and curly locks with bands completed her look. Do you miss the solid waistband as well or does her look work without it?

I only like the colour on her. The matchy matchy acessories are a no-go.
ReplyDeleteShe looks frumpy. The waistband might have helped but the neckline was not flattering on her either. Also the dress was too long. A little more leg would have lifted everything. Boom clutch is more of a cosmetic bag IMHO and really has little impact apart from the graphic. D+
