79th Cannes Film Festival Closing Ceremony

Following previous appearances at the festival, Aishwarya Rai, Ruth Negga, Penelope Cruz, Demi Moore and more hit the red carpet for the closing ceremony of the 79th annual Cannes Film Festival which was held at the Palais des Festivals on Saturday(May 23rd) in Cannes, France. You can relive all of the celeb looks from the festival HERE

Aishwarya Rai closed out on a strong note, wearing a custom CHENEY CHAN white suit with a playful, feathery boa. I wish that her hair was in an up-do, but she does look beautiful.

Ruth Negga who was a jury member, wore a custom CHRISTIAN DIOR white strapless embellished peplum dress. Although, I am not loving the choker, she ended on a good note.

Zoe Saldana ditched wearing YSL for a CHANEL RESORT 2027 black floral dress with a bow detail in the front and the back. Why does there need to be a bow in the front and the back. The is more ideal for me.

Tilda Swinton wore a CHANEL FALL 2026 red pleated high-low hem gown. The shape is a bit weird and I kinda like the runway's necklace more, but I can't say that this a bad look. If anyone could pull this off, it's her and she did.

Stella Maxwell dipped into the GUCCI archives for this FALL 2012 creation. I like this on her, even with the pink hair. I just feel like her hair needed to be completely off-the-shoulders.

Penelope Cruz tends to do better when she is not wearing Chanel, but that wasn't the case here. She wore a GOERGES CHAKRA FALL 2012 COUTURE black and white strapless embroidered gown with a tier skirt. I like the gown, I just don't think it suits her.

Geena Davis sparkled in a PAMELLA ROLAND PRE-FALL 2026 burgundy sequin, strapless dress. She looked pretty.

Eva Longoria wore a gold strapless embellished gown with a slit detail and a train from the ELIE SAAB SPRING 2026 COUTURE collection. It's the same silhouette that she always gravitates towards, but it worked for the occasion.

Demi Moore served up some drama, wearing a custom BALENCIAGA green halter dress with a light blue voluminous sleeve cape. She definitely should have left the white gloves out and an off-the-shoulder hair would have been ideal.

Isabelle Huppert wore a custom LOEWE black pailiettes dress with a contrasting white yoke and cuffs. I don't mind the white yoke, but those over-sized white cuffs is no for me.

Sofia Carson wore a custom black strapless velvet gown by CAROLINE'S COUTURE which she dressed up with a CHOPARD necklace. I'm not that crazy about the circle neckline, but she still looked pretty. Also, I feel like she needed rings with the velvet gloves.

Renate Reinsve showed some skin in a LOUIS VUITTON ensemble. I like this but it for most suited for the Grammy's red carpet not Cannes.
