Back on the promo trail & following her new Essence cover release, Gabrielle Union attended the premiere of a 'The Birth of a Nation' during the 2016 BFI London Film Festival on yesterday(October 10th) in London.
She hit the red carpet wearing a ZUHAIR MURAD FALL 2016 ball gown which featured a burgundy stretch velvet deep-v halter top and a flared jacquard inverted pleat skirt in black & gold bursting with butterflies. Gabrielle's gown was shown in the look book with a belt which she opted not to wear.
Even though I think the gown fits her nicely, I kinda wish she kept the belt but I am glad she ditched the choker. The belt offered up a nice balance between the velvet top & printed skirt. Keeping her beauty look simple, she went with minimal make-up and a quiff ponytail which finished up her look along with a selection of rings. Are you missing the belt on Gabrielle's gown?

I like this look
ReplyDeleteLove this! Agree, the belt would've helped with the transition of materials, but I think it would've sat too high on Gabi.
ReplyDeleteThe gown already fits and accents her waist so perfectly, and you can see how the print on the skirt "develops", I'm not missing the belt.
