2017 Vanity Fair Oscar Party Wrap-up

The 2017 Vanity Fair Oscar Party took place last night(February 26th) at The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Art in LA. To see all of the celeb looks, click HERE and continue below for the wrap-up.

Kerry Washington wore a long sleeve nude beaded MICHAEL KORS dress accessorized with LORRAINE SCHWARTZ & OFIRA jewelry, an EDIE PARKER clutch and GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI sandals. I don't like the fit of the dress, mainly the mid-section and I also think a pop of color was needed.

Nina Dobrev wore a CHRISTIAN DIOR SPRING 2017 white dress which featured a sheer dotted bustier top and a tulle skirt with white shorts. Even thought we have seen this before, Nina looked great. A TYLER ELLIS clutch, TAMARA MELLON sandals and a complimentary beauty look finished up her look.

Priyanka Chopra also wore MICHAEL KORS. Her black sequin & ruffled chiffon v-neck looked great on her. LORRAINE SCHWARTZ jewelry and side parted straight tresses finished up her look.

Naomie Harris looked simply beautiful in another white CALVIN KLEIN COLLECTION dress by Raf Simons. She finished up with a LEE SAVAGE clutch, BULGARI jewelry, TAMARA MELLON sandals and the same beauty look from her previous look.

Jessica Biel changed after the awards into a custom RALPH LAUREN SPRING 2017 dress which featured a gold metallic cut-out cape top and a ivory floor length skirt. The idea of this dress is cute but I am not wowed by it and the skirt is too long.

Olivia Munn wore a red GIAMBATTISTA VALLI PRE-FALL 2017 long sleeve chiffon turtleneck dress with an lace embroidered top. This is something different for Olivia because she usually goes the very sexy route.

Emma Stone walked away a winner and slipped into a second GIVENCHY SPRING 2017 COUTURE polka dot jacket with a white silk slip dress underneath. REPOSSI jewelry and black sandals finished up her look.

Viola Davis also walked away a winner and it was well deserved. She stepped out in a second look as well courtesy of BRANDON MAXWELL. She teamed her suit with STELLA MCCARTNEY platform oxfords.

Ruth Negga changed into a another look as well courtesy of OSCAR DE LA RENTA. Her FALL 2017 white strapless colorful sequin dress was teamed with GEMFIELDS & VERDURA jewelry, an EDIE PARKER clutch and STELLA LUNA pumps. I would have loved to see her with sandals here but I like this dress.

Dakota Johnson slipped into another GUCCI look which featured a black crossover silk slip dress with a contrasting pink bow waist sash.

Michelle Dockery wore a ROLAND MOURET cream center front split halter dress with a beaded floral cut-out top. I thought Michelle looked pretty as well for her outing.

Michelle Monaghan showed a little skin wearing a BRANDON MAXWELL FALL 2017 long sleeve black crepe dress with cut-out shoulders and a waist. JACOB & CO jewelry, a JUDITH LEIBER clutch and the ACLU ribbon finished up her look.

Scarlett Johansson wore a AZZEDINE ALAIA SPRING 2017 black one long sleeve semi-sheer floor length dress with a belted waist. The was  her second look of the night from the brand but I prefer the first one.

Rooney Mara stepped out in a cute H&M CONSCIOUS ruffle pleated dress. This dress would have looked so cute with burgundy velvet sandals.

Isabelle Huppert wore another ARMANI PRIVE gown but this time in red. Her dress which featured a see-through blouse and a crepe floor length skirt was once again teamed with REPOSSI jewelry. Love the color but I am not fan of the top.

Juliette Lewis wore a a one one sleeve sheer beaded sequin dress from the CHRISTIAN SIRIANIO FALL 2016 collection. A bold red lip could have enhanced this but I like this dress.

Amy Adams skipped the awards red carpet but she presented at the show. She headed to the party wearing the same TOM FORD dress. Love her hair but her overall look doesn't excite.

Mary J. Blige wore a GALIA LAHAV mixed media dress which featured a see-through beaded sheer front and a black velvet back. I feel that the front should have been black as well with black panels for coverage. The nude doesn't look good here.

Reese Witherspoon wore a MICHAEL KORS FALL 2017 black long sleeve mini dress with silver & white sequins and a small slit. Reese dress hit the runway in a long version that hit just below the knee. The mini looks great on her but I wish she went with a peep-toe.

Demi Lovato looked overwhelmed in this lavender MONIQUE LHUILLIER gown. This is way out of her style zone and I don't think it suits her.

Mariah Carey almost always wears her dress to tight and I know her breast are screaming for relief in this PHILIPP PLEIN SPRING 2017 dress. Also those LOUBOUTIN sandals doesn't work with this dress.

  2. We've seen Nina Dobrev's dress several times but I think her look may be the worst of the lot; not sure what is going on with her bust area, it's not flattering. On the plus side, I like her styling with the choker.

Best of the above: Jessica Biel, Ruth Negga, Michelle Dockery
