Yesterday evening(May 23rd) Blake Lively & Katie Holmes attended the American Ballet Theatre Spring 2017 Gala at The Metropolitan Opera House in New York City.
Blake Lively stood out in a strapless neon yellow OSCAR DE LA RENTA FALL 2017 dress which featured a bustier top and a structured draped side panel that flowed into a train. Blake appears to have altered the side panel and it doesn't appear to standout as far as it did on the runway. Also she removed the sparkle brooch. I wish she kept the runway sandals or wore a similar style as it adds to the sultry appeal of the dress. The STUART WEITZMAN 'Nudist' sandals in shimmery gold sandals are just okay for me. However overall, I wish she wore the dress in a different color.
Katie Holmes turned to go to designer & friend ZAC POSEN. She wore his FALL 2017 red strapless organza layered floral embroidered dress with a waistband that provided a cinched waist and side pockets which she utilized. Beauty wise, she went with a complimentary up-do and smokey eyes which was offset with a nude lip. EF COLLECTION ear jackets and matching red sandals finished up her look.
