Variety & Women In Film's 69th Pre-Emmy Awards Party

On Friday(September 15th) the Variety & Women In Film's 69th Pre-Emmy awards party took place at Gracias Madre in West Hollywood, CA.

Kiersey Clemons wore a PHILOSOPHY DI LORENZO SERAFINI white ruffle lace floor length dress with contrasting black pipping. My only issue here is that the dress looks a little too long. 

Gabrielle Union rocked a ANTONIO BERARDI long sleeve embellished dress which featured a sultry cold-shoulder detail. JOHN HARDY jewelry. NEIL J RODGERS sandals and a complimentary beauty look completed her winning look. 

Lea Michele ditched her usual sexy dresses for a CUSHNIE ET OCHS FALL 2017 white two-piece suit. Lea went braless under the jacket which up'd the sultry appeal of her look. The pants needed to be deemed but she looked great other wise. CASADEI pumps finished up her look. 

Serayah wore the ZIMMERMANN FALL 2017 maples boudoir ecru ruffle sheath dress with a square neckline and cascading sleeves. I think this dress would have looked so great with a bootie style but she owns. She finished up with a GAMIN earrings, a 3.1 PHILLIP LIM bag and CASADEI sandals. 

Shay Mitchell sparkled in a two-piece black RACHEL ZOE FALL 2017 sequin suit which she accessorized with NORMAN SILVERMAN jewelry and GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI sandals. Her masculine inspired look worked perfectly for the occasion. 

Tracee Ellis Ross worked a MICHAEL KORS COLLECTION FALL 2017 long sleeve leopard dress with a fringe, belted waist. This dress is right up Tracee's style alley and she wears it well. NEIL LANE jewelry, an EDIE PARKER clutch and CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN heels finished up her look. 

Yvonne Strahovski wore a PUBLIC SCHOOL PRE-FALL 2017 color-block printed embroidered dress with a tie neck. While I like the dress, I wish it was a tab bit tailored. 

Viola Davis was a beauty in a black sleeveless ruffle top which was styled with a ALICE + OLIVIA FALL 2017 floral embroidered & sequin skirt. How I don't like her shoe choice. 

Zoe Lister Jones wore a PHILOSOPHY DI LORENZO SERAFINI PRE-FALL 2017 long sleeve black lace & ruffle floral mini dress with a tie neckline. Instead of wearing black sandals, Zoe opted for nude. Straight tresses and a colored lip finished up her look. 

Abigail Spencer wore the SOLACE LONDON FALL 2017 'Dominique' pink midi crepe dress with long, exaggerated sleeves and a statement ruffle hem. Love this dress which she styled with IRENE NNEUWIRTH jewelry, an EDIE PARKER clutch and KURT GEIGER pumps. 

Julianne Hough wore a mint ESCADA SPRING 2018 two-piece suit and a lace, tie neck blouse. JENNIFER MEYER jewelry, a box clutch and CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN sandals finished up her look. 

Angela Sarafyan sparkeld in a ELISABETTA FRANCHI FALL 2017 sequin embroidered dress with a ruffle hem & bracelet length sleeves. My only quibble is that I wish the hair was completely off-the-shoulders. HEARTS ON FIRE earrings, a MAXIOR ring, a JIMMY CHOO clutch and GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI sandals finished up her look. 

Kiernan Shipka wore a DELPOZO SPRING 2016 ensemble which featured a white cotton flower poplin top and a color-block , double linen A-line skirt. This is a cute ensemble but it doesn't work on Kiernan. It suits someone more like Diane Kruger.  

Madeline Brewer looked great in a VATANIKA RESORT 2018 white fringe mini dress styled with ankle strap sandals. A complimentary beauty look finished up her look. 

Rhea Seehorn wore a ALTUZARRA FALL 2016 long sleeve color-block fringe dress with blue, black, burgundy, dark green and fuchsia panels. If this looks familiar, that's because Lauren Cohan wore it in July 2016. I am not feeling the velvet pumps but the dress is cute.

Nina Dobrev wore a ALTUZARRA burgundy long sleeve, button front dress with chain detail pockets. The make-up & hair doesn't work for me but I like this rich hue. 

Annabelle Wallis wore a strapless GIORGIO ARMANI pink floral embroidered & ruffle floor sweeping dress. That ruffle panel on the bodice is what throws this dress off. I can't believe it's Armani. 

Shiri Appleby wore a REBECCA VALLANCE navy calf length dress with off-the-shoulder straps and side, gold buttons. A half-up half-down hairstyle and STUART WEITZMAN sandals finished up her look. 

Claire Foy wore a black knee length GUCCI studded dress with long, ruffle lace sleeves, a ruffle neckline and a butterfly embroidered bodice. She finished up with a center part ponytail, red lips and black sandals. 

Samira Wiley wore a black floral embroidered dress styled simple with gold sandals. This is not a wow moment but she looks nice. Loving her hair. 

Sarah Hyland sparkled in the THAI NGUYEN FALL 2017 'Julia' long sleeve burgundy sequin high neck dress which she styled with a matching clutch, NARCISA PHERES rings and CASADEI pumps. A matching lip finished up her look.
