Kerry Washington was on hand to support her husband who was nominated. She wore a MISSONI multicolored floral bustier dress with a tiered fringe skirt. Instead of wearing pumps or sandals, Kerry opted for the PEDRO GARCIA 'Ana' powder pink booties. A MOVADO watch and braided hairstyle finished up her look.
Ava DuVernay turned to her go to designers, GRETA CONSTANTINE. Her green, high-low collared satin dress with puffed sleeves was styled with a JIMMY CHOO clutch and STELLA LUNA SPRING 2017 'Indispensable' ankle strap pumps.
Amanda Seyfried wore a white sleeveless ALEXANDER MCQUEEN lace embroidered dress with a high neckline, a cutout bodice & waist and a asymmetrical hem. To give her look a touch of color to her look, a red smokey eye and pink lip color was added to her beauty look. However I don't think it was enough to balance out the white on her. Maybe she should have gone with a bold lip color. Also sandals would have been ideal over her nude LOUBOUTIN pumps.
Saoirse Ronan wore a sleeveless PRADA gold jacquard mini dress with a colorful beaded yoke. I think Saoirse looked worked well for the venue. Gold sandals and a ponytail finished up her look.
Allison Janney has been on her style game for her first major awards season and she looked lovely in a custom PAMELLA ROLAND fuchsia long sleeve sheer illusion gown with a split detail. NIKOS KOULIS jewelry, a JIMMY CHOO clutch and STUART WEITZMAN sandals finished up her look.
Aubrey Plaza wore a MIU MIU black crepe calf length dress with a white contrasting collar, velvet short puffy sleeves and a velvet waistband. A pop of color came via her fuchsia lips. I am non the fence here. It's not that I don't like the dress, I just don't like it for the venue. JIMMY CHOO sandals and a ponytail finished up her look.
Salma Hayek worked her curves in a sleeveless ALEXANDER MCQUEEN black midi dress with utility pockets on the bodice, contrasting red side panels and a high-low hem detail. I actually like this curve hugging dress on her.
Alison Brie wore a RALPH & RUSSO FALL 2017 COUTURE sleeveless white & black trim ruffle tulle, tier beaded dress which was accessorized with FERNANDO JORGE jewelry and JIMMY CHOO sandals. Love her beauty look which topped off her look.
Emily Ratajkowski who recently got married, wore the BROCK COLLECTION FALL 2018 'Dasha' brown floral dress with contrasting black bow straps, a square neckline and ruched bodice. I like the dress but the bodice is so unflattering on her.
