While Prince Harry and Meghan Markle was anticipating their royal wedding, so was the world. Everyone watch the wedding today(May 19th) as the two became Prince Harry & Meghan Duchess of Sussex at the St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in Berkshire, England.
Prince Harry went unshaved but still clean in his frock coat uniform of the Blues and Royals. A lot of people were talking about him not shaving but I actually thought he still looked great on his big day.
Meghan Markle, Duchess Sussex kept it simple in a custom GIVENCHY COUTURE by the label's creative director Clare Waight Keller. This marks the first bridal look from the fashion house. The gown was simple, with a bateau neckline, bracelet length sleeve and a lightly sculpted skirt. Her gown also featured a five meters long train that flowed in soft folds and a underskirt in triple silk organza. Just like a lot of people, I really was expecting something a bit more. However she still looked elegantly beautiful in this classic gown.
Victoria Beckham wore a dark navy midi dress from her namesake collection which featured a belted neckline, a long key hole detail and split sleeves. For a pop of color, she wore red pumps. I am a bit surprised that VB wore a dark color for this summer wedding. She looked great nonetheless.
Amal Clooney didn't come to play as always. She stood out a STELLA MCCARTNEY honey yellow midi dress with side tie detail in silk Cady, which was worn with a head dress by STEPHEN JONES. A box clutch, gold pumps and red lips finished up her winning.
George Clooney seems to always wear pants that are poorly fitted and this time was no different. He wore a two-piece grey suit and to coordinate with his wide, he wore a yellow printed tie & pocket square. A better tailored pants & brown shoes would have made this a winning look.
Oprah was suppose to wear a ivory dress but realized at the last minute that it wouldn't have photographed well so she called on STELLA MCCARTNEY as well. She wore a long sleeve blush, double tiered dress with lace trim made of sustainable viscose. Her dress was accessorized with a PHILIP TREACY hat that she had in her closet since 2005, a top handle bag and mule heels.
Sabrina Dhowre who is the finance of Idris Elba, wore head to toe GUCCI which was teamed with a VIVIEN SHERIFF hat. Sabrina is wearing a white dress from the fashion house under her long cardigan so I wish she left it open. She still looked great.
Idris Elba kept it really simple in a black two-piece GUCCI suit which was styled with a white button down shirt, a black tie and black dress shoes. I feel like he could have done so much better than this.
Serena Williams worked her frame in a long sleeve pink VERSACE, ruched side knee length dress. Her look was accessorized with an elegant head piece, an AUDEMARS PIGUET watch, BULGARI jewelry, a metallic clutch and pink pumps.
Alexis Ohanian, Serena's husband, wore a traditional morning suit by the HUNTSMAN. I actually thought Alexis looked sharp. Unshaven and all.
Gina Torres who was Meghan's 'Suits' co-star, wore a COSTARELLOS SPRING 2018 red & white floral embroidered, tulle mock neck dress with three-quarter sleeves. Her look was accessorized with a fedora, STAZIA LOREN earrings, a PRADA clutch and CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN pumps. This is a very rare outing for Gina who leads a private life. She looked great for the occasion.
Priyanka Chopra looked sophisticated & chic in a custom VIVIENNE WESTWOOD lilac suit which was paired with PHILIP TREACY hat, LORRAINE SCHWARTZ jeweler and JIMMY CHOO heels. I just love this whole look.
Carey Mulligan looked lovely and on tune for the wedding wearing a ERDEM PRE-FALL 2018 white, yellow, green & pink ruffle floral dress with a contrasting black velvet waist sash. Love this floral ankle length dress which she offset with a white clutch and grey JIMMY CHOO ankle strap pumps.
Doria Ragland, Meghan's mother, was picture perfect in a custom OSCAR DE LA RENTA wedgwood green wool crepe dress and coat with contrasting ivory floral thread embroidery and a the brand's 'Rogan' box clutch. She offset her summery hue with nude pumps which topped off her look along with a hat.
Sarah Rafferty wore a heavy hue but she did look lovely in this LANVIN FALL 2018 knee length dress with embellished, puffy sleeves. Love the head piece that she is wearing as it coordinates with her dress. While the hue doesn't read summer, you can't deny how great she looks. The TYLER ELLIS 'Lee' pouchet & pink pumps finished up her look.
Abigail Spencer wore a ALESSANDRA RICH SPRING 2018 navy & white long sleeve polka dot dress with a white contrasting collar & cuffs, padded shoulders, a center front button closure, a belted waist and a pleated skirt. If this looks familiar, that's because Sarah Jessica Parker wore it last month(April 2018). She teamed her dress with a navy head piece, a top handle bag and white pumps.
