The UK premiere of 'Bob Marley: One Love' was held at the BFI IMAX Waterloo in London on yesterday evening (January 30th) with the cast and more on hand.
Naomi Cowan went through the TADASHI SHOJI archives for this SPRING 2017 blue layered lace gown. I can't say that I am a fan of the design but the color looks great on her. Also, I would swap out the slingback pumps for an ankle strap heel.
The Schiaparelli SS-2024 Paris Fashion Show took place to today as part of Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week and the celebs arrived wearing SCHIAPARELLI of course.
Jennifer Lopez wore a white coat which was made of 7,000 real rose petals, that was kept fresh and alive by sugar water, also known as hummingbird nectar. Hear me out, I love the idea behind this look and the coat is definitely impactful. However, I don't see JLo as a ''Schiaparelli Girl'' because of her very sexy style. I don't think this is a bad look though but the hair and the glasses are especially not working for me. It comes off as if she is trying too hard in the face and she doesn't have to because she's JLo.
Zendaya made a dramatic entrance wearing a black ankle length dress with a draped, train detail in the back. I wonder how she sat down in this thing. I feel like this is more of an editorial piece or maybe for a move premiere. However, it's Paris fashion week, and this is what it's all about. But there are too many detailed elements that are competing with each other here. Also, it looks like a ponytail on her butt. However, kudos to her because what makes her the style star that she is, is that she takes fashion risk and somehow she made this over-designed piece work. CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN pumps finished up her look.
Cardi B slayed per usual wearing a custom look from the fashion house. Is her look off-season? Yes but it's couture fashion week and she served us with a look, worthy for the moment.
Julia Garner wore a GUCCI black cape with an ivory cutout, halter dress which was accessorized with BELPERRON jewelry. This would have been perfect without the cape.
Halle Bailey looked gorgeous in a white sequin & paillettes lace, halter dress with a dramatic, over-sized cape by GUCCI. On this occasion, the cape was the perfect addition.
Daisy Edgar Jones showed some skin in a black embellished piece by GUCCI. While there is a lot going with the design, it's not overly designed. She looked gorgeous in this sexy number.
Some celebs were on the carpet yesterday evening(March 21st) in full swing for the 2023 Fashion Trust U.S. Awards which was held at GOYA Studios in LA.
Zoey Deutch wore a PRADA ensemble and usually I am a fan of her looks but I am not feeling this one.
Sabrina Elba is always low-key serving looks and this time was no different. She looked simply beautiful in a ALAIA halter dress.
On Saturday(November 5th) the 2022 LACMA Art+Film Gala took place at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Most of the guests were wearing GUCCI, who is one of the sponsors of the annual gala unless otherwise stated.
Jodie Turner-Smith rocked a playful, black velvet and gold sequin & fringe dress. The neckline is my only compliant here, other than that, she looked beautiful.
Salam Hayek wore a ombre embellished and lace panel gown. There is a little too much cleavage on the display but I still thought she looked great here.
Idris Elba posed with wife Sabrina Elba and they are such a beautiful couple. Idris wore a navy & black suit and I wish the pants were a bit more tailored at the hem but he still looked good. Sabrina chose a custom TONY WARD COUTURE gown. I wish this was lined but my she looked beautiful.
Fall 2021 collections are virtually showing now in different parts of the world and Sabrina Elba was in attendance for the Zimmermann and Camilla & Marc shows. She posed her looks from the events to instagram.
For the ZIMMERMANN show, she looked fantastic wearing a white fringe embroidered dress from the brand's SPRING 2021 collection. On the runway, the dress was shown with a white belt which she swapped out for a brown woven style. The brown belt definitely offered up a color balance and it popped against the white perfectly.
Okay so 2020 has been a tough year for everyone, everywhere due to the ongoing pandemic known as covid-19.
