Versace at the 2018 MET Gala

Seeing as Donatella Versace was on hand as one of the co-host, the VERSACE presents was strong at the 2018 MET Gala, Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination on Sunday(May 7th) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Katy Perry & more wore the designer label.

Zendaya served up a modern day Joan of Arc vibe wearing a gunmetal chainmail embellished dress with Swarovski crystals, flowing into a feminine fully beaded silk chiffon skirt. The cutouts and split added a flirty appeal to her look. Whether she is wearing her hair or not, she always gives us something fresh and amazing. Love the hair color & style on her. TIFFANY & CO jewelry and JIMMY CHOO sandals finished up her look.

Mary J. Blige wore a light blue & gold silk-chiffon gown with a draped shoulder panel that flowed into a train in the back and the matching thigh-high boots. This look is so MJB and I like the color on her. L' DEZEN jewelry, a gold clutch and smokey eyes finished up her look.

Gigi Hadid wore a navy one shoulder, high leg split gown with train, featuring stained glass-inspired handcrafted crystal embroidery. On the beauty end, she went with off-the-shoulder tresses and smokey eyes which topped off her look along with LOUBOUTIN sandals.

Donatella Versace wore a navy, black & gold embroidered mini dress with padded cap sleeves, a belted, skirted waist and matching knee boots. For the most part, Donatella usually wears the very sexy pieces from her collection so it was refreshing to see her go somewhat of a different route.

Blake Lively bragged about her dress for weeks and rightful so because this Atelier piece was a winner. Her custom-made, deep red, silk velvet gown featured a crystal encrusted bustier cascading into a dramatic full skirt with over-sized embroidered train. A spiked headpiece and LORRAINE SCHWARTZ jewelry finished up her look.

Gisele Bundchen has the environment in mind wearing a fully sustainable organic silk dress that featured one long sleeve and a split detail. Her sexy silk dress was teamed with gold accessories which topped off her look along off-the-shoulder tresses.

Cindy Crawford was red hot in a designer's house signature chainmail floor gazing dress. The color is the only thing that touches on the theme but the fit is amazing on her.

Kim Kardashian worked her frame in a gold metal-mesh floor length gown which was adorned with crystal cross. This gown is perfect for Kim but in some of her images, her nipples almost made an appearance.

Sza stepped out in a pink silk tulle, multi-layered gown with a fitted jewel-embellished bodice and thigh-high bejeweled boots. A lot of celebs wore a halo's which incorporated the gala's theme so it is no surprise that Sza is rocking one with her signature curls.

Irina Shayk didn't take on the theme but she did wear a sexy look as always. Her gold silk dress featured fully encrusted golden stones, Swarovski crystals, and metallic studs. The dress also features a bold maxi train and full ruffled skirt, worn with the label's choker and bracelets. For me, the bodice is way to tight on the bust.
