2019 Time 100 Gala Wrap-up

The  2019 Time 100 Gala took place yesterday evening(April 23rd) at the Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York. To see all of the celeb looks, click HERE and continue below for the wrap-up.

Brie Larson who was also at the Avengers premiere, wore a custom PRADA green strapless gown, featuring a cinched waist and pockets which she utilized. I am not a fan of the top and there is just a little too much fabric at the hem. However I love the color.

Glenn Close went the power suit route, wearing an GIORGIO ARMANI PRIVE FALL 2017 COUTURE black & navy sequin beaded jacket and black trousers. Glenn's jacket is a bit different from the runway version but it works either way. CARTIER jewelry and navy velvet pumps finished up her look.

Yalitza Aparicio has resurfaced, wearing a RED VALENTINO FALL 2019 black sleeveless floral embroidered dress, which was lined for coverage and belted at the waist. She served great looks during awards season and this time was no different. The honoree topped off her look with a colored lip & sandals and off-the-shoulder tresses.

Janet Mock worked the split on her JENNY PACKHAM FALL 2019 'Ceclie' green vertical sequin wrap dress, which she teamed with CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN sandals.

Indya Moore wore a IRIS VAN HERPEN FALL 2018 COUTURE 3-D nude & brown ruffle, see-through dress which had her breast on display. The beauty look is flawless but the crotch situation is where things went wrong. I wish there was better coverage but it doesn't stop me from loving this look because she owns.

Petra Nemcova wore a teal strapless gown from the CRISTINA OTTAVIANO FALL 2019 collection. She actually wears it better than the look book model but there is a little too much fabric at the hem.

Martha Hunt put on a feathery display courtesy of JASON WU. I really liked her playful FALL 2019 pink & black feather midi dress. The black pumps and off-the-shoulder hairstyle worked perfectly here because it allowed nothing to compete with her dress.
