On Saturday(April 5th) the 11th annual Breakthrough Prize Ceremony was held at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California. 

Zoe Saldana wore a SCHIAPARELLI FALL 2025 brown off-the-shoulder, center front split dress with a floral, sheer illusion sleeveless top. I love this dress, but I feel like the head styling could have been better.

On Saturday(April 13th) the 10th Annual Breakthrough Prize Ceremony was held at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in LA.

Jessica Chastain sparkled in a ELIE SAAB FALL 2024 purple sequin jumpsuit. Adding some extra sparkles to her look, she accessorized with a DAMIANI necklace. 

Lizzo looked so beautiful wearing a custom QUINE LI structured gown with matching opera glovers. I feel like she needed bracelets on both wrists, but this was still a winning look.

'The New Look' NYC Premiere

On Monday(February 12th) Apple TV+'s ''The New Look'' premiere was held at Florence Gould Hall in New York City. 

Glenn Close wore a CHRISTIAN DIOR black skirt suit and accessories and she looked great. She embodied what the Dior ''The New Look'' was about. However, I kinda wish that she added a belt. 

Maisie Williams wore a COMME DES GARCONS FALL 1987 dress from MON VINTAGE. I actually like this but I wish the gloves were leather and I feel a necklace could have been added.

Glenn Close in Sergio Hudson at the 'Tehran' Season 2 NY Premiere

Following her attendance at the MET Gala, Glenn Close attended the season 2 premiere of Apple TV+'s 'Tehran' at The Robin Williams Center on Monday(May 4th) in New York City.

This SERGIO HUDSON FALL 2021 collection has been getting a lot of runs on the carpet and understandably so because it has some great pieces. This blue suit on Glenn is one of them and she didn't even need the belt. 

The FRED LEIGHTON jewelry helped to enhance her overall look. But the only thing that's bugging me is that I can see the top of her bra. Other than that, she looked great.

Amanda Seyfried wore a SPRING 2021 COUTURE red strapless plissé tulle gown which was accessorized with FOREVERMARK jewelry and STUART WEITZMAN heels. The gown hit the runway in blue but red is and will always be the perfect color on Amanda which is why I am glad that it was changed. However I wish that she kept the brooch from the runway's version but I also dislike the neckline. Nonetheless, she looked gorgeous.

Zoe Kravitz and Glenn Close wore gowns by OSCAR DE LA RENTA to the 26th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday(January 19th) at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in LA.

Zoe Kravitz rarely gets it wrong and once again she came through in a winning look. Her custom peach column gown featured an elegant waist-cinching bow detail. I love the white opera gown and the simplistic beauty look as it helps to tie her overall elegant look together.

Brie Larson who was also at the Avengers premiere, wore a custom PRADA green strapless gown, featuring a cinched waist and pockets which she utilized. I am not a fan of the top and there is just a little too much fabric at the hem. However I love the color.

Tina Fey looked lovely wearing a custom VERA WANG deep sapphire blue strapless gown, featuring hand draped french tulle, with an arch shaped neckline and a dramatic watteau train. She dressed up her look with NIWAKA jeweler and a blue satin embellished clutch.

Kiki Layne who also attended the Spirit awards, delivered once again wearing a custom ATELIER VERSACE gown. Her pink gown which featured a dramatic cutout bow back, was accessorized with ATELIER SWAROVSKI jewelry.

Amy Adams also wore a custom ATELIER VERSACE gown. Her white strapless embellished was accessorized with a statement necklace. This a great look for Amy, not her best but still looks great.

I guess it is safe to say that Glenn Close loves her dog, as the pup joined her on the blue carpet this afternoon(February 23rd) at the 34th Film Independent Spirit Awards in Santa Monica, CA.

Rocking a unique power suit, she wore a SIES MARJAN SPRING 2018 lavender crinkle foil metallic two piece, that was belted at the waist and layered with a FLEUR DU MAL camisole underneath.Glenn Close has been having fun with her fashion choices this awards season and this look is no different.

The fabric may not be easy on the eyes but I thankful that she didn't wear the runway's hue.  Nonetheless, she sold me on this. She offset her shiny suit with nude JIMMY CHOO pumps which topped off her look along with ANA KHOURI. Are you feeling Glenn's shiny moment?

Emily Blunt served up some great looks on the Mary Poppins promo tour, and she adds another look to the list courtesy of ROLAND MOURET. Although simple in design, she stood out in the designer's red 'Belhaven' ruffle one-shoulder gown, which was accessorized with FERNANDO JORGE jewelry. 

Yalitza Aparicio from the hit movie 'Roma' looked lovely in this custom ADEAM tuxedo dress in a vibrant red tiger lily hue. A matching lip, straight off-the-shoulder tresses and DAVID YURMAN jewelry finished up her look.

Linda Cardellini might have looked stiffed posing, but her strapless MONIQUE LHUILLER SPRING 2019 white & black butterfly, guipure lace dress was cute. APM MONACO jewelry, and a TYLER ELLIS clutch & sandals finished up her look.

Glenn Close made her way to the red carpet last night(November 26th) for the 2018 IFP Gotham Awards with FIJI water at Cipriani, Wall Street in New York City.

Wearing all black of course, she wore a ZUHAIR MURAF FALL 2018 black jumpsuit which featured a long sleeve sheer dotted & beaded embroidered top with a tie neck and wide-leg trousers. 

Glenn rightfully had the top layered for coverage but I wish she kept the contrasting black leather belt. It give the piece balance. ARA VARTANIAN jewelry and a small clutch finished up her look. Are you missing the leather belt as well?

Glenn Close in Alexander McQueen at 'The Wife' London Premiere

Glenn Close made her way to London for the premiere of her new film 'The Wife' which was held at the Somerset House yesterday evening(August 9th).

She hit the red carpet wearing a ALEXANDER MCQUEEN PRE-FALL 2018 fuchsia two-piece suit featured a draped panel blazer with a black camisole underneath and matching ankle length trousers. 

If this looks familiar, that's because Amanda Seyfried wore a version of the suit in July 2018. The jacket is too tight on Glenn & the seam makes it look unflattering, which is unfortunate because this is such a chic suit. Statement earrings, black sandals and pink lips completed her look.

Rose Bryne, Katie Holmes & Glenn Close at 'The Wife' LA Premiere

On Monday(July 23rd) Rose Byrne, Katie Holmes and Glenn Close attended the premiere of 'The Wife' at the Pacific Design Center in LA. 

Rose Byrne wore a casual, masculine inspired look which featured a navy L'AGENCE blazer which was teamed with a simple white t-shirt, light, medium wash jeans and pumps. Opting not to accessorize with any jewelry, she finished up her look side parted medium tresses and a bold red lip. 

Katie Holmes also opted for a casual, masculine inspired look courtesy of ISABEL MARANT. Her white blazer, neutral tank and black trousers was accessorized with a turquoise necklace & black pumps. 

Glenn Close went the dressy route, opting for a VALENTINO PRE-FALL 2018 black silk-chiffon dress with black sequin panels and a black velvet tie waist. While I would have liked this more in the fall, Glenn looked great.
