73rd Tony Awards Wrap-up

The 73rd Annual Tony Awards took place yesterday evening(June 9th) at the 3 West Club in New York. To see all of the celeb looks, click HERE and continue below for the wrap-up.

Regina King was simply beautiful in a custom pink PRADA silk halter gown, with a ruched side panel, that flowed into a short train. The color looks spectacular on her and while the bodice looks a tad tight, I am still loving her look. JACOB & CO jewelry and a complimentary beauty look rounded out her look.

Cynthia Erivo wore a CHRIS GELINAS white floor length dress, with playful feathers and a flirty thigh-high split. I would definitely swap out the CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN pumps for sandals but she still was a beauty. KWIAT & FRED LEIGHTON jewelry rounded out her look.

Danai Gurira is beautiful but her custom GUCCI ivory and gold ruffle printed gown, which was accessorized with an statement ring, probably wasn't one of her best choices. I think it's the fabric. Her look was topped off with a flawless beauty look.

Ruth Wilson was easily one of my top favorites in this BRANDON MAXWELL RESORT 2020 red embroidered gown, which featured a crisscross cape, high neck top, side pockets which she utilized and a sweeping train the back. If this feels familiar that's because we saw it in pink on Naomi Scott.

Jake Gyllenhaal wore an ERMENEGILDO ZEGNA XXX  bitter chocolate, one-button, shawl collar tuxedo, bomber collar dress shirt, and dress shoes. If I had to nitpick, I wish he added a printed pocket square to add a touch of attitude to his look.

Darren Criss kept it simple in a black two-piece GIVENCHY suit which he teamed with white button down shirt and black leather boots. It's not an exciting look but he looks great.

Karen Olivo took on the power suit look courtesy of ALEXANDER MCQUEEN. Her PRE-FALL 2018 black suit featured a lace panel blazer and ankle length trousers. If I had to edit this look, I would switch the pants out for a tapered leg style and the platform sandals for pumps.

Lilli Cooper worked her frame in a classic mermaid silhouette gown by ZAC POSEN. Her RESORT 2019 nude tulle gown featured a deep v-neck and a ruched bodice.

Judith Light who was honored at the event, sparkled beautifully in a BADGLEY MISCHKA SPRING 2019 silver sequin gown, which was adorned with a contrasting pink velvet button & bow panel. Her signature hairstyle, BELPERRON jewelry and a JUDITH LEIBER bag finished up her look.

Marisa Tomei chose a gown from the RALPH & RUSSO FALL 2016 COUTURE collection. Her midnight blue floral silk chiffon gown was shown on the runway with a matching cape, that she opted not to wear. However the dramatic appeal of this gown sells so much better with the cape and I feel she needs a necklace. Nonetheless, this was a beautiful moment for her.

Billy Porter came through naturally rocking a dramatic look, as he posed with husband Adam Smith. His custom CELESTINO beaded embroidered suit, with a flowing tulle train, was accessorized with an custom EMM KUO clutch.

Sienna Miller presented in a MIU MIU black layered lace ankle length dress which was accessorized with CARTIER jewelry, a black clutch and silver sandals.

Laurie Metcalf wore a custom KHAITE white v-neck, cape dress which gave me a flashback of Gwyneth Paltrow's white Tom Ford cape dress. I wish the fit was a bit more tailored but I like the idea of this dress.
