Variety's Power of Young Hollywood Party Wrap-up

Thandie Newton, Nico Parker and more attended Variety's Power of Young Hollywood party yesterday evening(August 6th) at the H Club in LA.

Camila Cabello lead the way wearing a sultry ZUHAIR MURAD SPRING 2019 COUTURE ruffle mini dress. The hair and the pumps are problematic for me. A hairstyle similar to the model's and silver ankle strap sandals would have made this an overall win.

Storm Reid went the power suit route, wearing a piece from the NINA RICCI FALL 2019 collection, along with a ivory, draped peplum detail blouse. For me, given the tone of the party, I wish she wore something a bit youthfull and fun. I like the ensemble in general but not for the occasion and it ages her.

Priah Ferguson looked great wearing a OSCAR DE LA RENTA asymmetrical hem dress, with black ankle strap sandals.

Chloe x Halle naturally posed together wearing coordinated looks from the RHEA COSTA PRE-FALL 2019 collection. Chloe wore a purple, one shoulder satin mini dress, while Halle wore a fuchsia, long-sleeve satin wrap mini dress. Chloe's dress is tad too tight and but the color options here are great.

Auli'o Cravalho was pretty in a KATE SPADE NEW YORK SPRING 2019 storm cloud blue floral embellished midi dress, which she accessorized with an oval clutch and silver metallic sandals.

Kelli Berglund struck a pose wearing a LONGCHAMP FALL 2019 long sleeve embroidered tulle v-neck dress, with an attached choker. I actually prefer the runway's color-way but this is a great look either way.

Emma Fuhrmann looked chic in a TANYA TAYLOR FALL 2019 plaid peplum top & the matching pants. Her look was topped off with a complimentary beauty look, a ZAC POSEN bag and black pump.

Sydney Park showed off her perfectly tanned skin in a RONNY KOBO red & black printed dress, which was accessorized with a black clutch & sandals.

Natalie Ganzhorn wore the SALVATORE FERRAGAMO PRE-FALL 2019 silk-chain link printed scarf neck with the matching plisse skirt. I really like her look which was accessorized with a red bag and brown pumps.

Hunter Schafer definitely gets the award for the most unique look courtesy of CHRISTOPHER KANE. Can't say that I am loving her PRE-FALL 2019 ensemble but kudos to her for taking a fashion risk.
