'Moana' LA Premiere

Following the London photocall, Catherine Laga'aia, Dwayne Johnson and Auli'i Cravalho joined fellow castmate Rena Owen on the carpet for the LA premiere of Disney's ''Moana'' which was held at the Hollywood Bowl on Tuesday(July 7th). 

Catherine Laga'aia wore the CULT GAIA PRE-FALL 2026 'Wynter' dress which featured cascading ruffles and flirty cutouts in an eye-catching floral print. Catherine is 5'2 which is probably why the dress hits the floor on her. The dress is supposed to be a midi length which I actually prefer on the model. Who knows, maybe it was made longer for Catherine, but either way, her overall look was perfect for the tone of the premiere.

On Monday(June 30th) Catherine Laga'aia, Dwayne Johnson and Auli'i Cravalho attended Disney's Moana Experience which was held at Potter's Field in London. 

Catherine Laga'aia showed just a hint of midriff in a LOVESHACKFANCY SPRING 2026 white ruffled embroidered crop top paired with a coordinating white embroidered tiered maxi skirt. I kinda miss the gold chain belt that the shown on the skirt in the look book, but it doesn't hurt her look without it. She looked great in this chic boho ensemble that was topped off with a lei garland.

Dwayne Johnson & Auli'i Cravalho at the 'Moana 2' London Premiere

Dwayne Johnson and Auli'i Cravalho were on the carpet on Sunday(November 27th) for the premiere of ''Moana 2'' which was held at Cineworld Leicester Square in London.

Dwayne Johnson wore a black tee with trousers, which was topped off with an AMIRI black & green palm print jacket. Love the jacket which is clearly the star here, but I feel like he needed a size up.

2024 Billboard Women In Music Awards

On Wednesday(March 6th) the 2024 Billboard Women In Music awards was held at the YouTube Theater at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA.

Victoria Monet looked gorgeous showing off her toned abs wearing a custom ROBERTO CAVALLI ensemble. 

Tracey Ellis Ross wore a custom LOEWE color-block draped dress and black pumps. The dress is fussy and weird, but Tracee has a knack for pulling off pieces like this. I’m not crazy about this, but it suits her.

21st Unforgettable Gala Asian American Awards

Following her attendance at a movie premiere, Auli'i Cravalho and more attended the 21st Annual Unforgettable Gala which was held at The Beverly Hilton on Saturday(December 16th) in Beverly Hills, California. 

Merle Dandridge posed in a MICHAEL COSTELLO metallic dress which was accessorized with COLETTE jewelry and a ALEVI MILANO clutch and pumps. I would have liked to see her in an open-toe heel but she still looked gorgeous. 

Auli'i Carvalho utilized the split on her custom look by MONSE. She looked great but an ankle strap sandal would have elevated this.

'Mulan' LA Premiere Wrap-up

Following her attendance at the Sisters Awards, Marsai Martin joined Liu Yifei and more at the red carpet premiere of 'Mulan' yesterday evening(March 9th) at the  El Capitan Theater in LA.

Ming-Na Wen wore a MARK ZUNINO strapless gown which was fitting for the occasion but there is a little too much fabric at the hem and the appliqués on the bust looks weird but this is still beautiful, dreamy look.

Jaimie Alexander wore a MARIA LUCIA HOHAN nude and black layered polka dot dress with an black waistband. The dress is great but the color is bad.

Thandie Newton, Nico Parker and more attended Variety's Power of Young Hollywood party yesterday evening(August 6th) at the H Club in LA.

Camila Cabello lead the way wearing a sultry ZUHAIR MURAD SPRING 2019 COUTURE ruffle mini dress. The hair and the pumps are problematic for me. A hairstyle similar to the model's and silver ankle strap sandals would have made this an overall win.

Mandy Moore rocked her 'I Am a Voter' pin, wearing a ROCHAS RESORT 2019 black ruffle floral, floor gazing dress, featuring a key hole detail. NEIL LANE jewelry and a bold red lip rounded out her look.

Auli'i Cravalho wore a THAI NGUYEN RESORT 2019 printed gown which had aot of cleavage on display and fabric at the hem. Comparing the length to model in the look book, this maybe suited for someone on the taller side but she does look pretty.

Following their attendance at the World of Dance event, Jennifer Lopez, Jenna Dewan and more attended the NBCUniversal Summer Press Day yesterday(May 2nd) in LA. 

Jennifer Lopez worked her frame in the AUGUST GETTY 'Gigi' white long sleeve ruched fitted knee length dress which was teamed with GIANVITO ROSSI pumps. This look works because it is right up JLo's style alley. EFFY & SARA WEINSTOCK rings, center part tresses and smokey eyes finished up her look. 

Jenna Dewan stood out in this REEM ACRA red, sleeveless midi length dress with a belted waist and asymmetrical hem. She offset her dress with the GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI 'New Darsey' mules. A complimentary beauty look and VITA FEDE jewelry finished up her look. 

Alice Braga wore an all black WYMANN ensemble which featured a crop top and the matching asymmetrical hem skirt with an belted waist. She signature curly locks and black sandals finished up her look.

2018 NBC NY Midseason Press Junket

Yesterday(March 8th) the 2018 NBC NY Midseason Press Junket which was held at the Four Seasons Hotel in New York 

Mindy Kaling who also attended the VF Oscars party this week, wore a J. CREW navy button front belted midi dress with contrasting white pipping. Yesterday was a bit chilly so I get the opaque stocking with her black shoes. But on this occasion, I wish she left them out. Also a black or navy bra would have been ideal here. Hair & make-up is on point though. 

Marina Squerciati of the hit show 'Chicago PD', wore a SACHIN & BABI PRE-FALL 2018 long sleeve light blue floral crop top with the matching pencil skirt which featured a contrasting sequin hem. Coordinating with the sequin panel, she wore gold ankle strap sandals which topped off her look along with a top knot.
