On Saturday(October 5th) the 2019 LA Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic, celebrating it's 10th Anniversary, took place at the Will Rogers State Park in LA.
Julia Roberts made a rare appearance wearing a MICHAEL KORS COLLECTION RESORT 2020 black & white polka do pleated, silk peplum top which was belted at the waist and the matching crop pants. I love this look and the white oxfords added to the chic appeal of her overall look.
Camilla Belle posed in a JASON WU COLLECTION SPRING 2020 black floral top and the matching high-waist, belted pants. I wish she wore the colored runway heels or a colored heel in general over her black TAMARA MELLON pumps. A colored heel would have elevated this.
Kaley Cuoco suited up in a MISSONI RESORT 2020 gray, green & red plaid suit blazer with the matching trousers. Her accessories complimented her suit nicely.
Kirsten Dunst wore a really cute VIKA GAZINSKAYA SPRING 2019 floral, tie-waist dress but her shoe choice is a let down. Instead of black, white, red or even pink sandals would have been a better color choice.
Rachel Bilson wore the JACQUEMUS FALL 2019 white backless, apron dress which she got from SHOPBOP. She also carried a bag from the designer and topped off her look with ankle strap sandals and gold hoops.
Anna Camp looked great wearing a LELA ROSE PRE-FALL 2019 sky blue & white sleeveless, embroidered grosgrain dress, which she coordinated with matching sandals.
Mandy Moore also chose a LELA ROSE dress but from the SPRING 2020 collection. I love this marigold yellow, floral embroidered flutter sleeve dress. Instead of wearing white sandals to play off of her bag, she opted for gold metallic.
Jaime King struck a pose in a MONSE SPRING 2020 asymmetrical, one-shoulder printed silk dress, which she teamed with mule sandals.
Karen Gillan wore the ZIMMERMANN RESORT 2020 ivory Super Eight flutter bodice and the matching Super Eight linen skirt. While she could have easily gone with sandals, I prefer the pairing of the oxfords. However I wish they were metallic. Nonetheless, she looked great. A felt hat, PARASTEH rings and a MULBERRY shoulder bag rounded out her look.
Lea Michele kept it simple but cute in the AMUR 'Bibi' ecru & green printed pleated halter dress, which she offset with cognac suede VINCE CAMUTO sandals.
Candace Cameron Bure wore the same PRABAL GURUNG RESORT 2019 colored patchwork panel dress that we already saw on Marin Hinkle in March 2019. White or metallic oxfords would have been a better shoe choice here but she still looked great.
Ali Larter wore the LA DOUBLE J 'Visconti' ruffle printed, crepe de chine dress which she accessorized perfectly with red sandals. Center part light waves and a red lip rounded out her look.
Aja Naomi King wore a FARM RIO red one-shoulder, side cutout midi dress, which she accessorized with gold jewelry and brown sandals. The shoes are meh but she looks great otherwise.
Kimberly Robinson also wore a dress by FARM RIO. Her Caramel Banana ruffle printed dress was teamed with black boots.
Hannah Simone wore the SHOSHANNA MIDNIGHT PRE-FALL 2019 'Zirara' black multi-colored lurex clipped dots dress, with two-tier flutter sleeves. Although I wish she wore something lighter in color, she does look lovely.
Becca Tobin wore the REBECCA VALLANCE RESORT 2019 'Blume' floral dress which she accessorized with a basket bag and white slouchy boots. This is a great look but I would swap out the boots for shoes similar to what Julia Roberts is wearing(see above).
Christina Hendricks was definitely on tune for the occasion, wearing the REFORMATION 'Lacey' floral, slit detail dress. Her accessories coordinated well with her dress.
Laysla De Oliveira wore a one-shoulder color-block stripe dress from the CALVIN LUO FALL 2019 collection. Her one leg-o-mutton sleeve sleeve was accessorized with JENNIFER FISHER jewelry and black ankle strap sandals. The idea of this is cute but it looks like the blue stripe panel was thrown over the red stripe panel. It would have made more since if it blended together.
Anne Winters wore a blue & white HOUSE OF CB floral dress which she accessorized with white ankle strap sandals. My only quibble here is that her hair should have been completely off-the-shoulders.
Lake Bell wore a ROSETTA GETTTY black top & crop pants which she accessorized with a white small bag and black sandals.
Busy Philipps wore a THE VAMPIRE'S WIFE ruffle floral mini dress which was accessorized with a straw hat, JIMMY CHOO sunglasses, a pink STAUD bag, TABIO pink socks and THE OFFICE OF ANGELA SCOTT loafers.
