26th Jose Maria Forque Awards

On Saturday(January 16th) the 2021 Jose Maria Forque Awards took place in Madrid, Spain, marking one of the first red carpet events of the year in midst of the ongoing pandemic. 

Ana Fernandez wore a strapless ADRIANA IGLESIAS printed gown. Something feels off to me, maybe a simple belt should have been added for balance. CHAUMET jewelry finished up her look. 

Aitana Sanchez Gijon wore a black short sleeve CHRISTIAN DIOR dress with a semi-sheer bodice. This was a simple but pretty look which worked for the occasion. BULGARI jewelry finished up her look. 

Belen Cuesta got suit in a LOEWE SPRING Pre-Collection 2021. Even though it looks weird in placement and a bit heavy, without the tai-color fringe belt, this suit would have been basic.

Juana Arias wore a ANGEL SCHLESSER SPRING 2021 two-tone pleated cape dress which was accessorized with gold jewelry and a SAINT LAURENT clutch. Minus the clutch, this is a great look. 

Milena Smit wore a black floral embroidered PACO RABANNE FALL 2020 belted layered dress which was accessorized with BULGARI jewelry and ART ALTERNATIVE platform boots. Me personally, I don't like the boots with this but she sells and no one else can do this other than Lady Gaga. 

Elena Furiase wore printed dress which is from the LONGCHAMP FALL 2020 collection. Elena's piece was not shown on the runway but I do like her edit piece. Its not as dressy as the other looks but it's still cute.

Elena Sanchez wore a black MIGUEL MARINERO FALL 2020 black one-shoulder, slit detail dress which was accessorized with RABAT jewelry and STUART WEITZMAN sandals. I feel like she needed sparkly, statement earrings or bracelets to take this to the next level. 

Vicky Luengo wore a LANVIN FALL 2020 midi dress, accessorized with BULGARI jewelry. The embellished straps is what keeps this dress from being boring. 

Natalia de Molina wore a SPORTMAX SPRING 2021 draped panel dress with a fringe hem and a slit detail. The hem looks very unfinished and it looks like the black panel got pulled down, exposing her bra. But I actually still like this. It's different but sexy. JIMMY CHOO sandals finished up her look.
