27th Virtual SAG Awards

The 27th SAG Awards took place yesterday evening(April 4th) and due to the pandemic, the awards show was held virtually. As with the previous awards show, without a red carpet, it gave celebs the opportunity to get creative on how they presented their look on instagram and I like. 

Kerry Washington swimmingly slayed in a custom ETRO blue silk-velvet Swarvoski crystal embellished, slit dress and the matching headpiece. The back featured a flirty cutout detail. The design is simple but it's the detail and the headpiece that makes this work. Kerry took a dip in the pool wearing this dress which might have ruined but the concept of the shoot & her dress paid off in a big way. BULGARI jewelry and LORIBLU sandals put the finishing touches on her look. 

Viola Davis can't be touched when she rocks vibrant colors and she served us with a chartreuse hue courtesy of LOUIS VUITTON. Her custom piece featured sleeveless padded shoulders and embellished panels down the sides. The design is basic but the color makes it standout and of course Viola looks beautiful in it. Helen Mirren never disappoints which is why she will continue to give these youngsters a run for their money. She looked gorgeous wearing this BADGLEY MISCHKA SPRING 2021 red dress with contrasting pink puffy sleeves. I am not so crazy about the hair style because I feel she needed something a bit more elegant but this is still a win for me. DAVID WEBB jewelry finished up her look. Helen Mirren slipped out of her BM dress into a MICHAEL KORS COLLECTION leopard sequin embellished dress which she accessorized again with DAVID WEBB jewelry. Colman Domingo is one smooth brother and his looks are always on point. He rocked a 4-piece GRAYSCALE suit which was accessorized with gold jewelry.

Kaley Cuoco also served us with some color thanks to her PRABAL GURUNG FALL 2021 pink dress which was accessorized with MESSIKA jewelry and CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN pumps. I love this color and she is pulling it off. She has been on a role lately, keep it up Kaley. Photo posted by Brad Goreski.

Mindy Kaling looked beautiful wearing the ALEX PERRY ''Kennedy'' cobalt blue, twist detail cape dress accessorized with DAVID YURMAN jewelry and JIMMY CHOO sandals. This color is everything and Mindy never disappoints. 

Nicole Kidman looked lovely wearing a GIORGIO ARMANI PRIVE SPRING 2021 white beaded embroidered tulle dress which was accessorized with HARRY WINSTON jewelry. However I don't like this color here, she seems to do well in darker hues. Colors like this tend to wash her out. 

Florence Hunt of ''Bridgeton'' hit us with the 3 looks for the event. The first was this CHANEL SPRING 2021 ensemble which she rocked with MISSOMA jewelry and MALONE SOULIERS boots. Catherine O'Hara always gives us interesting fashion choices whether it pays off or not. She wore a custom THOM BROWNE suit-gown. I am not feeling how the skirt is draped on the waist but I honestly like it, especially with the jacket. It's a great sequin look, in a uniquely designed manner which suits her perfectly. Emma Corrin wore a custom PRADA dress which was accessorized with CARTIER jewelry. This dress has a lot going on and honestly I am not feeling it. Rhea Seehorn wore a GRETA CONSTANTINE FALL 2020 floral appliqué top & wide-leg pants, accessorized with DAVID YURMAN jewelry. It could be the sunlight but it's really bugging me that the top is not the same color as the pants. Also I would swap out those pointy toe pumps for sandals.

Zosia Mamet looked gorgeous wearing a MIU MIU dress with FRED LEIGHTON jewelry. Zosia is such a fashion risk taker so it is refreshing to see her in something simple & pulling it off.
