Following her previous look, Thuso Mbedu was back promoting ''The Underground Railroad'' and her stylists Wayman + Micah posted her look on instagram yesterday(May 17th).
She posed for the gram in a CHRISTIAN DIOR PRE-FALL 2021 printed ensemble. Mixing prints can be hard to sell but this is something I personally like doing sometimes and when executed right, the results make sense. She wore the full look book pieces but instead of wearing the shirt tucked in, it was knotted at the waist, showing off her midriff.
Whether you like the pieces together or not, it has a unique flow with retro and punk elements which she is having fun with. Sneakers has become a common shoe choice for celebs and rightfully so because they can be rocked with just about anything, lending a comfy but cool finish. I actually like the idea of sneakers with this ensemble versus sandals or pumps.
Boots or oxfords would have been a great choice as well. It's stepping outside the fashion box for me and taking a risk. Beauty look was flawless which topped off her look. Are you sold on the styling of Thuso's instagram style?
